We are pleased to announce our eagerly awaited Medieval Foot Sergeants are now on release. We have also added new transfer shields for Templars & Hospitallers to the website.
This is a 32 figure set representing Medieval Foot Sergeants of the late 12th to late 13th Century, and contain some great poses and an enormous amount of variety in weapons, heads and costume.
Weapons include:
– 32 x Polearms so every figure can be equipped with a polearm.
– 12 x Two handed axes
– 28 x Spears (Plus 8 standard bearer arms which can also be used as spears)
– 52 x assorted hand weapon arms and hands holding swords, hand axes, maces and Batwing cleavers.
– 4 x Musician Horn/Trumpet arms
– 4 x Musician DrumsThe heads have some fantastic expressions and character as you have come to expect from Victrix releases, and the headwear varies from a plethora of Kettle Helmet styles, bowl type helmets, flat topped helmets and some just wearing arming caps.
Armour styles consist of just a Gambeson or Aketon or one over the top of the other which was common. Mail Hauberks and some with all mail legs and arms for the more heavily equipped soldiers of the time. Notice the raised padded neck collar on the padded armour which was common and added more protection to the vulnerable neck.
This set will be great for use in the Crusades or in any Feudal European conflict, be it the Barons war the Spanish Reconquista or Italians, French, Germans or troops from the Low countries.
You will be able to freely mix parts from this set with the Victrix Foot and mounted Medieval Knights creating yet more variety in your armies and retinues.
We have produced some new transfer sheets to compliment this new Medieval release. A new Hospitallers sheet and a Templars sergeant sheet with more to follow. You can use all the medieval sheets on the Foot Sergeants, Foot Knights and Mounted Knights.
The Medieval crossbowmen and archers set is in tooling and will soon be ready to add to your growing Victrix Medieval armies.

32 Miniaturen für 40€ … wie machen die das bloß? 😜
Beim Branchenprimus gibt es für das Geld teilweise nur 1-10 Figuren.
Sehr schöne Modelle.. Bin immer etwas irritiert wenn ich Sergeants lese, weil ich da halt direkt an einen Trupp-/Gruppenführer denken muss.
Wundert mich auch. Und das sogar im Plastikgussrahmen! Dennis(Diced) hatte da doch gerade erst in einem Video erklärt, dass sich das für kleinere Mini-Hersteller kaum lohnt. 🤨
Wirklich beeindruckend und auch sehr hübsche modulare Minis. Auch die Bemalung/Präsentation ist top und mach richtig Lust. 🤗😁

Victrix ist aber kein kleiner Hersteller. Zahlen finde ich Online nicht, aber zusammen mit den Perrys und Warlord sind die doch einer der größeren Hersteller. Wahrscheinlich gibt’s noch andere in der Größenordnung, die ich gerade vergesse.
Nicht GW-Größe, das ist klar, aber doch nicht die kleine Ein-Mann-Klitsche, wo sich Plastik nicht lohnt.
Ok, ich dachte Victrix wäre eher nen recht kleinerer Betrieb mit überschaubaren Absatzzahlen (jedenfalls kein Vergleich zu GW..) 🤔 Naja, ob die nun aber Riesen-Gewinne machen..? 🙄
Ein Kumpel war im letzten Jahr bei Warlord und war vollkommen baff, was für eine kleine Bude das tatsächlich ist für so einen etablierten Hersteller. Ich glaube, man macht sich von außen tendenziell recht falsche Vorstellungen über Größe und Umstände solcher Betriebe.
Das Video von Dice war auch recht unbelastbar.
1. ist es ein Unterschied, ob die externe Dienstleister für Gewerke bezahlst oder ob es die eigenen Mitarbeiter sind.
2. ist die Absatzzahl von dem Dice Spiel nicht ansatzweise mit der der größeren und namenhaften Hersteller zu vergleichen, die ihre Produkte international vertreiben.
Laut den englischen buisness Seiten hat Victrix weniger als 1 Million Umsatz im Jahr und 10 Mitarbeiter, also das ist alles nur keine große Firma
Und Plastik Modelle an sich sind jetzt nicht sonderlich teuer in der Herstellung, auch für kleine Firmen nicht, teuer ist das Design der Figuren und das Layout der Gußrahmen (was Victrix selber macht)
Dienstleister bieten rein die Herstellung an, das Design des Gußrahmen und den Prototypen braucht man selber aber zB Formlabs bietet Stückzahlen in 100, 5000 und 100.000 an und verlangt dafür 100, 3000 and 20.000$ für die Form (also wenn man 10.000 Stück will entweder 2×5000 Stück oder 1x 100.000 und davon 90.000 auf Lager legen)
Es reicht offenbar, um die Firma seit über 25 Jahren am Leben zu halten. Irgendwann wird da schon mal das eine oder andere Pfund abfallen 😉
