Fans of Total War: Warhammer will already know what to look forward to: strategic depth, brutal battles, and cinematic warfare. Now in the 41st Millennium, you’ll be waging war on a galactic scale. You’ll be able to conquer planets, upgrade your fleet, and manage your resources, before unleashing your forces in apocalyptic battle.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 will have four factions to choose from at launch: Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Orks, and Aeldari, with each offering wildly different playstyles and challenges in both campaign and battle modes.
The game will be packed with iconic Warhammer 40,000 units, from battleline infantry and tanks to walkers and colossal war engines. Did you see that Stompa in the trailer?!
You’ll also be able to customise your force, from its name, colour scheme and heraldry down to its traits and tactics. So, whether you want to make your Total War army match your tabletop collection, or just create an awesome new thematic colour scheme, go for it!

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only one more turn…
Es wurde ja schon vermutet, aber der Trailer sieht schon sehr spektakulär aus. Endlich richtig große Schlachten im 40k Universum, das fehlte ja noch bei den Spieln – bzw. ähnliche Vorgänger wie Final Liberation sind ja mittlerweile uralt.
Ich freue mich schon riesig darauf, aber es wird schon noch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis wir das Spiel selber spielen können…
Also nach Warhammer 3 warte ich ab, Trailer sieht zwar gut aus aber ich trau der Firma einfach nicht zu das sie liefern und ihr Produkt pflegen.
Die letzten Released von denen haben auch wenig Mut noch Lust gemacht und wenn man sich in Erinnerung holt wie sie auf Kritik reagieren:

Ich gucks mir aus der Ferne weiter an, wird aber definitiv kein sofort Kauf (eher auf Rabatt aktion warten wenn überhsupt) da haben die sich zu sehr verbrannt.
Ich trau denen leider zu dass es eine totale DLC-Katastrophe wird und man permanent nur am nachlaufen ist. Mit Creative Assembly und GW haben sich definitiv 2 Firmen gefunden denen ich zutraue die Spieler auf nie dagewesene Weise zu melken.
Paradox könnte sich ja noch dazu gesellen.
Wenn man sich deren warhammer Spiele ansieht, rechne ich mit Space Marines vs Chaos vs Orks. Jede weitere Fraktion ist dann ein dlc der kräftig kostet.
Space Marines,Orks, Aeldari und Astra Militarum wurden als erste 4 Fraktionen bestätigt.
Space Marines als stand alone Fraktion? Das macht mal sowas von keinen Sinn. Da zeigt sich dann endlich mal wie absurd die Sacle ist. Wie soll denn bitte ein SM Orden ne ganze Welt, geschweige denn nen Sektor mit 1000 Hansel halten, wenn die im Trailer schon knapp 50+ für ne einzelne Stadt.
Freue mich trotzdem auf das Spiel.

Es wurde doch erst vor einer Weile Dawn of War 4 angekündigt. Macht sich GW jetzt Lizenzinterne Konkurrenten ? 😅
Naja die Schlachten an sich haben schon was hergemacht aber über die Kampagne bin ich bei Total War eigentlich noch nie Hinaus gekommen. .
Trailer ist mal wieder unrealistisch;-) Orks sind im Spiel viel besser 🙂
Kann super geil werden, kann aber auch eine totale Katastrophe sein. Hab dieses Jahr nochmal DoW 1 gespielt und das war schon eine ziemlich perfekte Umsetzung.
Ich weiß auch nicht was ich von „but will also be the franchise’s debut on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles“ halten soll. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass sich das mal positiv auf ein Spiel ausgewirkt hätte. Schon gar nicht auf ein RTS. Und in die TW-Formel passt 40k ja auch nicht ohne weiteres, ist also viel Neuland was da erkundet werden muss.
Und die Gerüchte stimmten doch! 😁 Optisch sieht das jedenfalls schon mal recht vielversprechend aus. Und in letzter Zeit hat sich CA ja bei Total War Warhammer3 auch wieder mehr Mühe mit Updates,Fixes gegeben. Von daher bin ich mal vorsichtig optimistsich, dass das Game (nach und nach) auch so cool wird wie TW Warhammer 3. 🙂
Ich möchte zu gerne große Armeen über eine Welt-/Sternenkarte dirigieren und dann in Bombastschlachten aufeinander los lassen. In welchem 40k-Spiel hat man sowas schon? Bitte CA: Versaut es nicht! 🤗
