From Idea to Reality: Shroudfall Skirmish Packs!

The upcoming Shroudfall Skirmish Packs are designed as the perfect entry point for anyone who wants to dive into the battle for Essence. With everything you need to start playing in one box, they make it easier than ever to join the battles for Astira – whether you’re completely new or looking for a compact way to expand your collection.

To make this vision a reality, we knew we needed a strong production partner who understood both quality and the needs of tabletop gamers. We found that partner in Unicool Game Manufacturing – a name many hobbyists already know and trust.

Our first encounter with them was at Essen Spiel 2023, where we got the chance to see their work up close. Impressed by their production quality, we stayed in touch, knowing that one day the timing would be right.

That moment came in early 2025, when we finally decided to bring the Shroudfall Skirmish Packs to life together with Unicool. Together with their excellent team, quite a few sleepless nights and a lot of work on both sides we honed every detail until we were confident enough to send the complete package off for prototyping.

The first prototype was an exciting milestone – holding the pack in our hands for the first time made all the effort feel worth it. After final tweaks and approval, production officially went ahead with Unicool producing all cardboard elements, the rulebook as well as the dice and the Gamebreakers producing all models included in the Skirmish Packs.

And now, we’re thrilled to share that the finalized Skirmish Packs are on their way to Europe! These packs mark a huge step forward for Shroudfall, making the game more accessible than ever before.

You’ll be able to see them, touch them, and play with them at Essen Spiel 2025! You will find us in hall 1 at the booth 1F112. For us it’s truly a full circle moment, returning to the place where this partnership first began.
