Our last Weekend Teaser for November… Painted Samples for our Vietnam War Sampan prototypes! Two varieties of sampan with a mix of VC fighters and NVA soldiers. These figures can be swapped between sampans for variations. A sampan is a relatively flat-bottomed Chinese wooden boat. Sampans may be propelled by poles, oars (particularly a single, long sculling oar called a yuloh „摇橹“) or maybe fitted with outboard motors. Some sampans include a small shelter on board and may be used as a permanent habitation on inland waters. Sampans are generally used for transportation on rivers and are often used as traditional fishing boats. The word „sampan“ comes from the original Cantonese term for the boats, sāam báan (三板), literally meaning „three planks“.

Die machen auf ner Platte richtig was her.
Dem einen muss man wohl noch etwas unter den Hintern schieben, der hängt merkwürdig frei, aber da findet sich sicherlich was.
Und hier sind zwei lMGs drin, die fehlen nämlich in der Viet Cong Box…
Yes!!! Die werden sich super für The Drowned Earth machen! 🙂
Würdest Du sie dann umbauen? So out of the box hätte ich nicht an Drowned Earth gedacht.
Ja, definitiv umbauen, aber ich liebäugle schon länger mit den Vietcong Kämpfern von Rubicon und den Echsenmenschen von Wargames Atlantics, einfach nur als Basis für Umbauten zu Zivilisten. Da würden die Boote noch prima reinpassen, ebenso wie einiges an Bewaffnung 🙂
