Our last Weekend Teaser for August – A work-in-progress SdKfz 250/20. The SdKfz 251/20 „Uhu“ was a German half-track armoured vehicle equipped with a 60cm infrared (IR) searchlight, developed for night combat during WW2. Its nickname, „Uhu,“ is German for „eagle owl“. The Uhu was designed to illuminate the battlefield with infrared light, allowing other IR-equipped vehicles and soldiers to engage targets in the dark.
