Our Second Weekend Teaser for May… more vehicles incoming! The M718 (M151A1) 1/4 ton ambulance was designed to carry ambulatory and litter patients. The cargo area of the M718 is longer and higher to accommodate litters and patients.

In Vietnam, many M718s were used for general base transport or for ambulatory (walking wounded) troops. With the mounts, rails, and brackets removed, this provided a rear seating area for four personnel, along with two front seats.
