Pillage: Gelände
Victrix Games haben neue Acessoires für Pillage angekündigt.
Dark Age & Medieval Accessories!Another surprise ahead of the Hardback Pillage rules Pre-Order tomorrow! We’ve designed a whole bunch of cool things that can be used in Pillage, for decoration or for stealing. Here’s what we have so far. More on the way! We’ve gathered extensive images and information to make these objects as accurate and authentic as possible.Barrels – Based on the large Hedeby barrel and some smaller Viking age barrel reconstructions.Plates, Bowls, Jugs & Beakers – Based on finds from Hedeby, Dublin, Oseberg and modern reconstructions. The living history groups were also very useful for finding out about such things as the Viking diet! Cheese, Eggs, meat and Fish feature heavily.Beehive & Chicken Basket- Anybody from The UK of a certain age will be familiar with Chicken in a basket served in pubs in the 1970’s! We have the uncooked Viking version! This poultry basket is based on some period designs and the model comes split in two so you can paint your chicken, pop it inside and glue the halves together. Beehives are based on Medieval illustrations, also very useful in Pillage!Market Stall – When researching these we were amazed at how practical it was and how modern in concept, being able to fold down flat and pack away easily.Tables, Benches & Chairs – All based on Viking designs, the three-legged stools from Hedeby are of simple construction as are the bench and smaller narrower table. The larger table is of more sturdy construction and very useful as a feasting table.Furnace – Ideal for creating Fire in your pillage games. This is based on early clay furnaces. They were not very big and could only handle small amounts of smelting unlike the bigger Blacksmiths furnaces.Camp Fire – No camp or village would be complete without a camp fire and fire pit with a cauldron of hot soup bubbling away! Another great fire source.Grain Sacks – These will work for most periods. Some are stacked and some individual sacks. They have been sculpted full of character and work great as lootable objects or set dressing for your games.
