Perry Miniatures: Neue Previews

Perry Miniatures zeigen auf Facebook eine Handvoll Neuheiten für die französische Revolution

New Revolutionary French Artillery and Heavy Cavalry

Alan has 8 new codes (well, the 8pdr has been out before) for Revolutionary range. The cavalry like the infantry were not always well equipped so they are depicted in a mix of civilian and military waistcoats and one pack are in overalls instead of boots and leather breeches. The later pack is intended to be mixed with their booted comrades. The Foot Artillery can also be used with the 4pdr from the French in Egypt range (FE 42). Limbers from the French in Egypt range can also be used (FE 39 and 40) as the short carmagnole jackets worn by the drivers could be painted in civilian colours. If your portraying the Consulate period you can also use the Horse Artillery from the same range FE 34 and 35. While we’re on it, some dragoons from the French Napoleonic range could be used; FN 202, 203, 205 and 206, as the queues they should have are covered by their helmets horsehair crests.
