Announcing the First One Page Rules Mission Jam
We’re excited to announce the launch of the first-ever Mission Jam at One Page Rules – a 7-day event dedicated to crafting exciting, one-page narrative missions for the OPR community. This is your opportunity to showcase your creativity, win some prizes, and even the opportunity to be hired to write an official mission for One Page Rules. This Mission Jam will also be a special opportunity to apply for a freelance designer position at One Page Rules.

This mission jam is going to be special, because OPR is currently looking to hire freelance designers to create official missions for our various narrative campaigns, mission packs, and more.
We’re looking for someone with native-level English writing skills and a good understanding of OPR games to design ~10 missions a month for all OPR games (including Quest games, currently excluding Warfleets). The ideal candidate loves our games, can work independently, is meticulous in writing missions following the exact OPR format, and needs to have MS Word. Note that typically it takes 30-60 minutes to write a mission depending on the skill level, so this is the perfect job to spend a few hours on during the weekend, for example. This is a paid position, and our hope is to find someone that can easily fit into this role, and maybe one day expand into additional game design work at OPR.
If you meet the requirements above, and would like us to consider your submission as a job application, then make sure to add [JOB APPLICATION] to the title of your submission, so we know who to contact.
Note: The mission writers retain the rights to their own missions, and they won’t become part of OPR’s catalogue of missions unless specifically agreed between the creators and OPR after the jam.
Don’t Forget to also get ready for the Upcoming OPR Writing Jam!
In August we’re also going to be hosting our 13th OPR Writing Jam! This is a 48 hour story writing marathon focused on writing one-page stories set in the OPR universe. And like the OPR Mission Jam, this time the winner will get the opportunity to be hired to write an official OPR Short Story.
Writing Jam Dates
Start: August 8, at 8:00 PM UK time / 3:00 PM ET time,
End: August 10, at 8:00 PM UK time / 3:00 PM ET time.
Writing Jam Prizes:
The winner will be hired to write one official short story!
The top 3 stories will receive 4special digital rewards minis
Every participant will receive 2special digital rewards minis
