Nate Feyma: Strider

These fellas are cooking along. The striders are done, engineered, and the first supports are test-printed. Unfortunately, they’re pretty oversupported, and I lost a few strider feet while removing them – I’m going to do a second support pass to try and make this process a bit less painful. Riders are pretty much posed, and I’ll soon be sculpting the detail bits of the uniforms. If I have time after all that, I’ll see about adding a few extras to the kit.

The set currently contains striders with six pairs of pre-posed legs and modular shoulder mounts (with three new options to mount in them, plus compatibility with the current range of pintle and heavy weapons), plus a standard gun mount slot in the nose.

Riders will be separate, with a few leg positions as well as options for lances, heavy weapons, and compatibility with the existing infantry arms. There are also rider arms with both hands on the controls for folks who need to ride hard, as well as a rider with sideskirts and rank chain so that you can get a mounted commander on the field. Finally, I’ve got two new heads done and am hoping to get one more after the core needs are finished up.
