Step into Middle-earth with this exquisitely detailed 54mm scale UV resin miniature of Gandalf the Grey, sculpted by Chris Tubb. This figure is supplied unprimed to preserve the high level of sculpted detail, allowing you to choose the priming method that suits your painting preferences.

Gandalf the Grey is the most famous wizard in Middle-earth, and has many names depending on whom he first encountered. Despite appearances, he is not human, but one of the wisest Maiar, immortal spirits created by Ilúvatar. He is a member of the order of Wizards (Istari), which were sent to Middle-earth to counter the influences of the Dark Lord Sauron. Gandalf is the most travelled of all the wizards and the most involved in the lives of all the races. Other wizards like Saruman and Radagast curtailed their activities to certain lands or forests, Gandalf moved to wherever he felt he was needed, often bringing warnings, which resulted in him acquiring the unfortunate nickname Stormcrow.

This sculpt is part of a duo (with Bilbo) where they first encounter each other, in the Shire. There is a bundle deal available if you buy both via the product options.

Bilbo Baggins is a Hobbit, a race of people that are smaller in stature than even Dwarves, with a fondness for food and comfort, and not well known outside their home territory. Bilbo was disturbed from his comfortable existence by Gandalf the Grey Wizard and was recruited, somewhat reluctantly, into a dangerous adventure to rob a Dragon (Smaug) alongside a troupe of Dwarves lead by Thorin. Later on he became an accidental Ringbearer of the powerful One Ring. This lead to more problems for him and his kin (Frodo) in The Lord of the Rings books.

This dynamic scene from The Hobbit is brought to life in dramatic fashion with Dori the Dwarf carrying Bilbo, sculpted in 54mm scale by Chris Tubb. Dori’s strength and urgency are captured in motion, while Bilbo wraps his arms around Dori’s shoulders, eyes wide with surprise.

Dori is a Dwarf, and alongside his two brothers, joined Thorin and Gandalf in their adventure to remove Smaug the Dragon from the Lonely Mountain. During this adventure they got attacked by Goblins and had to flee. Dori carried Bilbo as he was faster and had more stamina than the smaller Hobbit. Bilbo Baggins was brought along, largely by the recommendation of Gandalf the Grey, to help steal the Arkenstone from Smaug, a precious stone that was a hugely important heirloom for Thorin Oakenshield.

This sculpt is part of a Bundle (with the three Goblins). You can save 22.80 Euro if you select that four figure bundle in the product options.

Mithril Miniatures Goblin With Axe – 54mm UV Resin Miniature 1 Mithril Miniatures Goblin With Axe – 54mm UV Resin Miniature 2

Goblin with axe – 54mm UV Resin Miniature – 28,45 Euro

Goblins of the Misty Mountains (also known as Orcs) were numerous evil creatures with a crude hierarchy based on the strength of their leaders rather than any sense of loyalty. They used weapons, either stolen from their victims or crudely crafted, along with simple patchwork armour. They were hostile to anyone that fell within their reach.
