Biologis Curator – $16.00

This kit contains one plastic Biologis Curator equipped with Genostaff of Restoration, and a 36mm Maelstrom’s Edge base.

You can find assembly instructions for this model in PDF format here.

Sculpted by Dave Whitaker.

Precise control of namites is a skill that takes the span of many human lifetimes to master, something each Curator accomplished long ago. Incredibly ancient beings, Curators are centuries deep into an intense focus of one particular stream of the Biologis art, seeking to truly grasp all of its many intricacies before switching to another. A Curator’s abilities are at the pinnacle of their craft, and their fellow Kaigus treat them with reverence and awe.

This kit is compatible with additional genostaff types supplied on the Proctat Upgrade sprue, available in the Biologis Attendants kit, or the Kaigus Pact Faction Starter Force.

Kaigus Pact Troops – $32.00

This kit builds six plastic Kaigus Pact Muharis or Biologis Attendants equipped with a range of different weapons. Also includes six 32mm Maelstrom’s Edge bases.

Sculpted by Kevin Johnson.

Sworn protectors of the Kaigus, the institution of the Muharis dates back to the original signing of the Pact, which codified that every nomadic fleet would share the same military structure. It also established their role as a pillar of societal leadership alongside the Biologis. Though many Muharis are veterans with extensive time on the battlefield, the Kaigus’ reliance on their thrall species results in a combat doctrine that generally focuses on training and leading thralls over direct engagement. Muharis are tough and fearless fighters when the situation calls for it, however, secure in the knowledge that rebirth awaits if they fall.

The lowest ranking Biologis, Attendants are relative novices to the craft of directing namites. More lightly equipped than Muharis, the primary role of Attendants is to bolster the Kaigus battle line by spawning thralls and learning first-hand how each type of thrall performs during the crucible of combat. Biologis have a preference for weapons imbued with poisons as a natural side effect of their studies. The Dart Hosts carried by Attendants are modified from those used by Muharis, with a shorter range but containing a powerful toxin.

This kit is compatible with the parts from the Proctat Upgrade sprue, available in the Biologis Attendants kit, or the Kaigus Pact Faction Starter Force.

Kaigus Pact Thralls – $24.00

This kit builds plastic Kaigus Pact thralls – two swarms each of Krii Vapor and Shatter Thralls, and four Tamakin Combat Thralls armed with either dart hosts or ripper claws. Also includes four 32mm and four 46mm Maelstrom’s Edge bases.

You can find assembly instructions for these models in PDF format here.

Sculpted by Kevin Johnson.

Biologis consider the Tamakin species perfected, and they no longer work to improve upon the design. Unlike the vast majority of thralls who are crafted to almost mindlessly perform a specific task, Tamakin possess a level of intelligence similar to a human child and are especially amenable to telepathic commands, so they are able to fulfill a variety of basic functions throughout Kaigus society. The Tamakin population regularly outnumbers the Kaigus species by 50 to 100 times, serving as menial workers, servants and even pets.

Krii were the very first thrall species perfected by the Biologis Collective. Simple and hardy organisms, they were created to perform in hostile environments, even surviving in a vacuum for several hours. Originally designed for emergency hull repair, Krii would swarm over the damaged exterior plating and a chemical reaction in specialized glands would cause them to detonate, fusing the mass of creatures together into an ad-hoc hull patch.

Orakan Shield Thralls – $16.00

This kit builds two plastic Orakan Shield Thralls. Also includes two 36mm Maelstrom’s Edge bases.

You can find assembly instructions for these models in PDF format here.

Sculpted by Dave Whitaker and Iain Wilson.

Orakan are bullish and aggressive. When left to their own devices, they will find the nearest creature they perceive to be a threat and charge them at full speed, using their nigh impenetrable crest as a battering ram. Muharis commanders have been known to capitalize on this nature, using them to assault enemy positions, looking to shatter an entire enemy line.
