Khurasan Miniatures: Afghanische Speerkämpfer

Khurasan Miniatures zeigen eine Vorschau auf die kommenden Figuren.

Khurasan Preview

As part of “Beef-up 2025,” here we have an image of the Afghan long spearmen, just sculpted. These served in Timurid, northern Indian and ethnic Persian dynasties in the Middle Ages. You’ll see them in a lot of army lists from around 1250-1400 in that area.
One Islamic Persian dynasty, the Kartids of Herat, ruled Khurasan after the Ilkhanid Mongol dynasty fell, and fielded a lot of good Afghan foot such as these. We are also expanding the Islamic Persian codes so that these armies can be fielded — we have already released two codes of Persian heavy cavalry to serve in Timurid armies, and are now making command for the army.
Those commanders can certainly be used as command in Timurid armies as well.
So all of the building blocks of the Islamic Persian dynasties between the fall of the Ilkhanids and the triumph of the Timurids will be available:
Command
Heavy cavalry
Turcomans
Tajik archers
Afghan archers
Afghan spearmen
Not sure when these will be released — probably early 2026.
