Forest Dragon: April Patreon

Im April haben Forest Dragon wieder ein STL-Paket für Patreons zusammengestellt.

In April the Imperial human army gets its first taste of black powder weapons with the introduction of the light cavalry and musketeers, supported by a mighty fire wizard. Glade nobles ($10 tier) and merchants will also get access to the army general and army standard bearer.

The light cavalry are armed with swords and pistols, and are a mobile force that can trouble your enemies by swiftly getting round their flanks. As usual there will be supported individuals, a choice of command strips, and choices of standards with sculpted detail or blank for your own designs.

The musketeers bring their powerful ranged weaponry to further bolster the Imperial army. In a break with tradition, these miniatures are not mounted on the previous 2 man archery strips but on the standard infantry strips. The miniatures are staggered so that there is no danger of friendly fire from the back rank. There is the usual choice of command and banners and fully supported individuals. (Yes, including the dog!)

The fire wizard has 3 options – the grandest sees him perched atop a magical inferno while hurling a fireball at the enemy. If this is too much magical excitement for you he can also wreak havoc from atop a tactical rock, either with or without the fireball. Whichever option you choose, it would probably be wise not to allow him to get too close to the black powder…

For glade nobles, the army general is captured at the moment of issuing orders to his scribe, who entrusts them to his trained pigeons to reach the front line. The general is also accompanied by the army standard bearer and a baby griffon on a 25 mm diameter base.

The scene is provided as a single piece, but the scribe is also provided individually and can then be plugged into the base for easier painting. The general, army standard bearer and baby griffon are also provided as individuals on smaller bases. All versions have the choice of 2 banners with sculpted detail or blank for your own designs.
