The sight of a Lobster Grill Family Restaurant truck is, sadly, more of a cause for concern than the promise of a nice, warm meal. Particularly on the island, those trucks more often than not contain a huge, mutated hermit crab. Now many times too large to hide in a shell, these beasts strike their foes down with enormous pincers. The trick to fighting them is striking their weak point, although Wanderers may find achieving a sufficient amount of damage to lay this beast low a challenge…

A walking mouth covered in scales, Gulpers watch their prey from trees or bogs as they wait for their moment to pounce. Even younger Gulpers are of fearsome size, with adult Gulpers growing to a size larger than a human. As if a ‘regular’ Gulper were not fearsome enough, some change into Glowing Gulpers. Nastier and meaner than its peers, they can be identified at a glance by the green hue of their skin.

Die Hermit Crab ist eine nette Idee. Gefällt mir gut. Nur weiß ich nicht, als was ich das in welchem Spiel einsetzen sollte…
Vielleicht als Hermit Crab bei Fallout? 🤔
Nein, ich kenne das Problem, ich entdecke tolle Miniaturen und weiß dann aber nicht wofür.
Mittlerweile schaue ich mich nach Spielen um, bei denen Miniaturen nicht „fest vorgegeben“ sind – wie Stargrave oder Frostgrave(SciFi und Fantasy). Da sortiere ich gerade meine Berge an Reaper Miniatures Bones Kickstarter zu den NPC Monsterkategorien ein und entdecke auch den ein oder anderen Helden. Stargrave konnte ich auch schon selber mit meiner ersten Crew spielen ist relativ einfach, aber hat auch viele aha und wow Effekte. Ich hoffe einfach, dass die Fantasyvariante ähnlich unterhaltsam ist.
Und im Zweifelsfall „Every model ist a Necromunda model“ Wobei so eine große Krabbe vermutlich eher nur für ein spezielles Szenario gebraucht werden kann – und um es vielleicht ein mal im Jahr aus dem Schrank/Koffer etc. Zu holen ist es bei dem Preis zu schade.
Wird mich nicht davon abhalten den zu holen. Klasse Mini.
Der Angler würde sich vermutlich auch gut in Carnevale machen.
Den Angler und die Gulpers passen gut für Stargrave etc. (oder 40k Rouge Trader, das hatte ja einen eher Rollenspielartigen Ansatz) da gibt es ein eigens Kapitel für Death World Flora und Fauna)
Die „a Song of …“ Reihe ist auch perfekt um Miniaturen agnostisch einzusetzen. Da gibt es auch Scifi und Fantasyregelwerke.
Da werde ich mal nach gucken. Danke für den Tipp.
