Sculpted by Alan Marsh, these figures represent the armies that fought around Barcelona and across Catalonia between 1706 and 1709, where Spanish Bourbon forces, British expeditionary forces, and Catalan allies clashed in the struggle for the Spanish throne. From the siege of Barcelona to the campaigns across the Catalan countryside, these figures capture the Mediterranean theatre of Europe’s great dynastic war.
