Epic Warpath: Produktionsupdate
Mantic Games haben ein Produktionsupdate zu Epic Warpath veröffentlicht.
July Monthly Update: Free Rulebook PDF, Shipping Timetable, Next Steps
Commanders,
Firstly, we’d like to begin with an apology for the delay on this campaign. Big manufacturing projects and supply chains can be disrupted in surprising ways, but we never like having to shift a project back either – and we share your frustration. It’s always an outside possibility with a range that’s new, large and complex – and Epic Warpath has turned out to be all three!
The good news is that we’re now approaching the final straight, the components coming into us are looking excellent, and there’s lots going on to now bring everything together.
Shipping Begins in August
The final components will arrive by the end of this month (July), so we’ll be able to begin shipping pledges in August. As promised, we will be shipping pledges to Kickstarter backers before the game later launches at retail.
Rulebooks Have Arrived – Start Reading Today!
More components are arriving all the time, but we’ve just received a very big and important one – the rulebook, and in five languages. Ronnie was especially delighted!
All backers will receive the complete Rulebook PDF alongside this update. They’re packed with fantastic art and photography, and we know you’re all excited to dive into the core rules, prep your forces, and get ready for deployment.

Getting Ready!
With the arrival of the rulebooks, we are already assembling the essentials packs (Rules, Tokens and Dice) which will make the later pledge assemblies faster. The pallets are stacking up as we prepare for the next phase.
Books, Boxes – What About Models?
Arriving next into Mantic HQ are the next delivery of hard plastic sprues. Revealing the highly-detailed Enforcers was one of the most exciting things we’ve been able to share so far, and we’ll be able to show you in-hand photos of more faction sprues very soon.
The Noise Begins, & Another Chance for STLs
While we’re shipping throughout August, we’ll be sharing a whole series of blog posts, faction deep dives, and model showcases, including insights from Mantic staff building their own armies. You’ll also see our main channel marketing kick into gear as we begin to tell the world about the game and it’s international retail launch – because we want you to have lots of opponents! We’ve also been with the team at OnTableTop over in Northern Ireland, recording a beast of an Epic Warpath video battle report for you all to enjoy around the same time.
We’ve also heard loud and clear in our inbox both during and after the campaign that you’d like to see even more of the coming model range made available as STLs – and there’s been more demand for this than we expected when we first started designing the range (and deciding what would only come on sprues) etc.
So, once we’ve begun shipping physical products we will be making some adjustments to our Vault platform, to help provide backers with all the STL files they pledged for, and perhaps some surprises too!
We’ll have more details on this as we firm up our delivery platform and details of any future digital offerings. Setting this up will be handled separately and have no impact on the shipping timeline for your physical pledges.
Retail Launch After Backer Shipping
Once all pledges have shipped, Epic Warpath will prepare to launch very soon after in retail stores. But as a backer, please know that your pledge will ship first.
Please note that ‚retail pledge backers‘ who committed to the campaign during the original Kickstarter will be included in the first phase of shipping, with the regular retail launch shipping after that.
Summing Up
Phew – a big update today…
Thank you once again for making this epic journey possible. There will be plenty more updates incoming throughout both July and August as everything becomes very real, very fast!
We can’t wait to see you on the battlefield,
Team Mantic
*freu*
