Carnevale: Heaven’s Grace – Throne

Only by the grace of the lord can you hope to stand before the power of His Throne without crumbling to your knees in submission. A vastly powerful entity proudly subjugated into the service of the Vatican, this holy Construct is the ultimate embodiment of Heaven’s Grace.

As an unfathomable Construct, the Throne is a mighty Hero to the Vatican and a loyal companion to its many priests working to cleanse Venice of its many debaucheries. Although the followers of the floating cities‘ true faith should not fear the sight of their lord’s instrument of destruction, foes should seek to avoid its gaze at all costs. Those who are deemed unworthy of life will meet the Throne’s Divine Justice, which is a powerful base contact attack offering +1 Damage along with the Knockback and Stun effects. Beyond the potential for a lot of heartache, the Throne has an impressive 16 Life Points and 1 Command Point.

In terms of Character Abilities, the Throne has Companion (Invoker), Fear (-2), Flight, and Universal Shielding (3), so it’s at this point we need to ask you a question: Be Thou Afraid?  If an enemy character would roll no Aces on its basic MIND roll due to this character’s Fear ability, that character loses 1 Will Point. If that ability doesn’t strike fear into your heart, then prepare to bask in the Throne’s Cosmic Harmony. At the start of this character’s turn, choose a friendly character within 6“ and in line of sight. This character and the chosen character both replenish 1 Command Point.
