Bolt Action: Neuheiten
Warlord Games haben die Briten ein paar neue Auswahlen spendiert.
British Army 4.2 inch heavy mortar (Late War) – 18,00€
Support your frontline British troops and rain down fire from afar with a Heavy Mortar!
The 4.2-inch heavy mortar was first used by the Royal Engineers at the Battle of El Alamein in 1942. From 1943 it was deployed as divisional support for infantry formations. A powerful weapon, it was usually treated more like supporting artillery than its lighter cousins.
Mortars are some of the most widely used units in all of Bolt Action, giving your force the capability to lay down lethal indirect fire on the enemy. One of the core units of Heavy Weapons Platoons, when drawing line of sight from a friendly spotter they can menace enemy units all across the table.
Contains one metal Heavy Mortar with four British crew in Late-war uniform, with plastic bases.
Sculpted by Wojciech Flis. Studio miniatures painted by Andrés Amián.
6 pdr anti-tank gun with British infantry (winter) crew – 23,00€
Give your British troops some fire support with the reliable 6-Pdr!
The QF 6-pdr was the highly successful replacement for the 2-pdr, being copied by the Americans as the 57mm Gun, M1. Its useful lifespan was extended by new developments in ammunition that improved its armour penetration capabilities, allowing it to knock out Panthers and Tigers from the flank. Although supplemented by the 17-pdr, it was never entirely replaced and continued to serve in infantry units long after the war ended. The 6-pdr replaced the 2-pdr as the standard weapon in British tanks as it became available.
A 6-pdr is a solid choice for a Mid/Late-War British Artillery Platoon in Bolt Action, mounting an ever-dependable Medium Anti-tank Gun. This version is crewed by Winter-clad British/Canadian troops, ready to refight battles set in the bitter winter of 1944.

17 pdr anti-tank gun with British infantry (winter) crew – 29,00€
Put pay to enemy armour with the British 17-pdr!
The QF 17-pdr was developed to overcome the more heavily armoured German tanks encountered by the British during the fighting in North Africa. A few hybrid 17-pdrs on 25-pdr carriages (called ‘Pheasants’) were sent in early 1943, though the final version was not deployed until later that year, making its combat debut in Italy. By the time of the campaign in Western Europe, it equipped the Royal Artillery anti-tank regiments. The 17-pdr was the most formidable anti-tank gun deployed by the western Allies, and was capable of penetrating more than 200mm of armour at short range using armour-piercing discarding sabot (APDS) shot. Designed almost entirely for anti-tank work, the 17-pdr would receive HE shells that were somewhat less potent than their size might suggest – this is reflected in its special rules in Bolt Action.
In Bolt Action, a 17-pdr should be your first port of call when you really need to knock out enemy armour, a task for which it is remarkably well-suited, counting as a Super-heavy Anti-tank gun with a formidable Pen value of +7. This version is crewed by Winter-clad British/Canadian troops, ready to refight battles set in the bitter winter of 1944.
