Bestiarum Miniatures: The Return of the Remade [NSFW]
Bestiarum Miniatures kehren diesen Monat zu ihren Remade zurück.
October @ Bestiarum – The Return of the Remade
October draws nearer, and a many-legged menace returns to darken your door. We’ve got a sequel to the Remade – with a bumper set that adds some much deserved bulk to the faction, while revisiting and expanding upon some absolute classics.
This set builds upon the already strong foundation established for the Remade, delivering a horde of Servitors to serve as the backbone, plus a foulsome Remaker – once a Dark Elf, now twisted and changed by aeons of scars and mad invention. His fragile form is defended by a terrifying, gangle-limbed guardian.
Additionally, we’ve remastered and updated some of the classic Dark Elves, combining the once-Cultists & Warriors into a single set and adding a few gorgeous new characters to bulk the set into a party of 10. Another model has seen a major overhaul – the Dark Elf Royal Guard has had a full makeover, and will be serving as a solo character for the new vision of the faction.
After your feedback, we’ve reimagined our strategy for terrain – Large/FDM Terrain pieces are out for the time being, and we’re refocusing our efforts on scatter terrain & decorations: High impact resources that will immediately change the vibe of your table and match the faction! For the Remade, that of course means eggs and cocoons. We’ve massively expanded the original 3 pieces into a set capable of filling an encounter or skirmish board.
For those who were enjoying the addition of FDM and larger scale pieces, don’t worry – this isn’t the end. We’ll continue exploring this medium, likely delivering these pieces through a Frontier or similar Campaign.
The Faction Pack is another monster of a publication, drawing together all the Remade into one tome and giving them a solid place in our setting – unveiling a wealth of dread details of the plight of the Dark Elves, the twisted creations of the Remakers, and the detached, mad demigod herself – the Fleshsmith. All this is supported with new 5e Statblocks to help you bring them to the table better than ever before.
Remaking the Remade
As is becoming tradition, this return to the Remade has also triggered a host of changes across the back catalogue – let’s start with the models who’ve been remastered:
- Fleshsmith’s Daughter – Complete Resculpt
- Remade Triumvirate – Complete Resculpt
- Remade Warriors – Optimised for durability & detail
- Dark Elf Arachnaeborne – Complete Resculpts, major improvements to printability
- Remade Brooders (formerly Swollen) – New Heads, bodies optimised for durability & detail
- Remade Broodmother – New Base
- Dark Elf High Priestess – Optimised for durability & detail
- Cave Spiders – Major optimisation for durability & printability
- Dark Elf Bladeswarm – Optimised for durability & detail
- Dark Elf Cabalists – Optimised for durability & detail (improved legs)
These updates are already live, and will be automatically delivered to those of you who already own the models – just download the new files from your MMF Library.
Additionally, we’ll be restructuring the existing models into three new bundles that better collect the different branches of the Remade into their respective flavours – The Creations of the Remade, the Dark Elves, and the Cult of the Fleshsmith. These will be arriving in October, and will replace the original Remade Part 1 and 2 collections. October will be your last chance to grab those classic bundle configurations.
As some of these models are already in October’s release, we’re launching with a heavier discount than the usual 60%. For October, subscribers can claim 70% off all the Remade collections. Covering the cost of those Dark Elves, and a little extra.
We’ll launch the codes in a separate post on October 1st.
Hope you’re as excited for this set as we are, we can’t wait to see what you cook up with it. Furthermore, thanks for your patience these past few months as we’ve been figuring out what exactly our new subscription offering will look like for the future.
Although this particular month is a bit heavier on the remasters, we think we’ve figured out a balance that will meet the majority of everyone’s expectations: Based on your feedback, the large Terrain pieces are out as we focus more on scatter terrain & decorations and we’re bringing back a character (hero) model as well.
As usual, expect the format to flex to meet the thematic needs of the collection, but we think this is a stable foundation for the next few months. As always, we’ll keep listening to your feedback and refining our work to bring you the very best of our grimdark creations.
Cheers,
Bestiarum Crew
