Ein eher exotisches Setting, aber das was man hier sieht, wirkt ansprechend.
Ein Starterset ohne Regelwerk?
Musste ich auch dran denken.
Scheint mir etwas seltsam, oder sind die Regeln irgendwo online?
Wenn die Regeln passen könnte das etwas für mich sein.
Also ich habe ein Regelbuch, ob es die vollen Regeln sind, weiß ich nicht genau, als Beilage in der Wargames Illustrated gehabt. Es wirkt erstmal so, als sei die Zeitschrift zu kaufen der einfachste Weg an die Regeln zu kommen, da auf der WI-Website das einzelne Regelheft allein für WI-Prime-Members verfügbar ist. Es kann natürlich sein, dass die Regeln auch woanders angeboten werden, ich habe aber die Erfahrung gemacht, dass diese „Vorab“-Regeln, die häufiger dem Heft beiliegen, bei einschlägigen Shops erst mit der Aufwertung zu einem „vollwertigen“ Regelbuch angeboten werden. So ist das bspw. bei Never mind the Billhooks (auch von WI) ebenso gewesen.
WIPrime Mitglieder können sich sowohl das Regelwerk, als auch die STLs runterladen.
Sehr unglückliche Lösung.
Die Regeln sind dieses Monat beim Wargames Illustrated Magazin dabei.
In der Ägäis gab es ja einige große Seeschlachten. Und wenn man den antiken Chronisten Glauben schenkt, waren daran auch gerne mal 100 oder mehr schiffe beteiligt. Daher ist das Setting durchaus spannend und verspricht interessante Kämpfe. Ich schaue mal, ob ich mir ein Set davon bestellen werde, denn ich bin schon ein großer Fan von See- und Raumkampfspielen aller Art.
Ich muss sagen, dass mich das Setting anspricht.
Hoffentlich kann ich das mal Probespielen oder zumindest mir vorher die Regeln durchlesen. Ich behalts im Auge.
Die Würfel find ich ziemlich toll.
Die Regeln werden als Download erscheinen, sobald die aktuelle ausgabe der Wargames Illustrated durch ihren Nachfolger abgelöst wurde. WI-Leser kriegen sie somit schlicht etwas früher. 🙂
Ich muss sagen, dass mir die Sets alle etwas hochpreisig erscheinen. Hinzu komme all die Dinge, die ich bei Tabletopsystemen erst einmal unterwältigend finde: systembezogene Symbolwürfel, eimerweise kryptische Tokenb und Schablonen…
Ich werde wohl erst einmal passen. Begeisterung stellt sich bei mir jedenfalls noch nicht ein.
