Sakurakami: The Jewel of the Empire Kickstarter

It is a pleasure to present you our new crowdfunding for the Kensei model range and new line of Scenery from Zenit Miniatures. Kensei is a Samurai tabletop wargame set in the fantastical world of Himukai.
In this Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign we will create a great set of miniatures. These miniatures would be used in Clash of Katanas, but could also be used in RPGs, other wargames, or for artistic painting.

During the period that the seventh empress of Himukai ruled centuries ago, she has two daughters, Natsumi, of a holy father, and Chizu during her exile in the frozen lands of the north; the first of her would have the responsibility of maintaining Himukai’s protective barrier, while her sister was raised and trained in exile to serve him one day, and so it was.
Chizu was loyal to her sister and formed the personal escort of the empress, the „sakurakami“,they served and fought fiercely watching over and only for the interests of the empress, when her mother, Empress Inori Tenno dies, the northern barrier is weakens, forcing Chizu and the Sakurakami warriors to defend Unebi’s fortress and Akeru temple in the far north.
They defended the sacred temple for years, but finally it fell, the lands previously protected by the light of the goddess Hikarii were cursed by the terrible Ashura who came from beyond the ice walls, now cursed mountains, and the forgotten Sakurakami.
Today, war and the ambition for power plunge Himukai into constant wars for the now empty throne; a follower of the secret path decides to reunite the Sakurakami, gathering troops and armies for the unification of the imperial treasures into one, and under a single flag, „the empress“.

This campaign has worldwide shipping.
The shipping cost will be added after the campaign in the pledge manager. As you will be able to add more elements from the old kensei range and scenery to your pledge it is dificult to rate now the exact price of the shipping. It will also deppends of the pledge that you have choose and the weight of your package and if you add more stuff of the old range.
We have a very good deal with our shipping company and the price will be not high. Otherwise the price of shipping the standard elements of this crowdfunding will be around, remember that this may vary if you add a lot of things to your pledge becouse of the weight:

Warum ist der Kickstarter denn unter „historisch“ es handelt sich eindeutig um reine Fantasy.
Kensei lässt sich rein historisch spielen, es werden aber auch Fantasy Elemente angeboten, um eine größere Zielgruppe zu erreichen. Das Gelände finde ich Interessant, da ich selber kein Gelände bauen mag..
Kensei/ Zenit machen so tolle Sachen… aber es ist jedes mal ein verdammter Krampf, dort zu bestellen. Über 50% aller Modelle kann man nach wie vor nicht im Webshop oder bei Händlern kaufen, sondern nur als AddOn innerhalb der jährlichen Kickstarter – und nein, die sind nicht KS exclusive, sondern Zenit ist einfach nur mega faul wenn es um das Pflegen ihrer Websites geht. Und damit nicht genug: Ich habe (weil ich die Modelle liebe) bei bislang jedem Kickstarter mitgemacht… und bei wirklich jedem davon hat mindestens 1 Teil gefehlt.
Die Kommunikation mit Zenit zieht sich auch immer ewig und es dauerte teils bis zu 6 Monate, bis endlich mal die fehlenden Teile nachgeschickt wurden.
Werde vmtl trotzdem wieder mitmachen. Mir fehlen noch ein paar Modelle die ich gern hätte und die es nach wie vor nirgendwo außerhalb KS gibt
Hatte nicht das Pech das was fehlte aber ja deren Shop ist einfach nur schlecht gepflegt.
Finde die neuen Minis wieder schön nur was mich anhält ist a die kaum nachvollziehbar Preise ( retail ) ,der recht geringe Bonus wenn mann keinen 3x Drucker hat und die lieblose Pflege der KS Seite (nur 1 Update, zeitweise keine neuen sg angezeigt ,kein was kommt noch, statt dessen lieblos zwei addons freigeschaltet)
