Khurasan is very pleased to add a set of “non-combatant” crusaders to our Heroic 15mm MILLENNIUM range:The quotes are because nobody was truly a “non-combatant” in the first crusade! The monk is urging the troops on, and the child and “washerwoman” are defending themselves — with a rock and a frying pan, respectively!More quotes above: the church forbade women from joining the crusade, except washerwomen. Thousands went anyway, be they prostitutes or the wives of pilgrims. These were made as mix ins, to add more colour to the hordes of pugnacious pilgrims accompanying the milites and pedites.
