  • Gab es die nicht mal in ähnlicher Form bei den „Chaoszwergen“ von Confrontation? Da waren doch auch Minis die wie Schachfiguren wirkten (bzw. nutzbar gewesen wären)

    • Der König des Abgrunds war der Anführer der Clanbox der Mid-Nor-Zwerge, und der Turm kam darin natürlich auch vor.

      Nun als Großfiguren für manche Sammler und Maler sicher nett.

    • Ja, genau. die Schachbox.Die war herrlich abgefahren, sehr interessante Sculpts dabei. Ich muss ja schamhaft zugeben, ich habe sie aber kam nie zum bemalen, dabei ist die so cool. Hatte mit meinen Mid-Nors ohnehin viel Spaß. Episch coole böse Zwerge.

    • Ja, Du hast vollkommen Recht! Die Ähnlichkeit zu den Confrontation-Miniaturen ist so verblüfdend, dass ich mich wundern würde, wenn die Jungs hier nicht rechtliche Schwierigkeiten bekommen. In jedem Fall ist es enfach stumpf abgekupfert, mehr nicht!

      • Laut Text ist das erstens Absicht (siehe Namen) und zweitens legitimiert (durch den Künstler selbst).
        War auch erst verblüfft.

      • Jein. Paul Bonner hatte damals die Artworks gemacht, die zu den Figuren passten (oder umgekehrt, Henne und Ei und so). Journeyman Miniatures machen Figuren, die auf den Artworks von Paul Bonner basieren und stellen diese fast 1:1 um/nach. Dadurch ergibt sich zwar zwangsweise die große Ähnlichkeit zu Confrontation, aber es stammt halt „nur“ aus der gleichen Quelle, nämlich den Bildern.

      • Da ists nichts abgekupfert. Alle Journeyman Minis werden auf Basis von Bonners Illustrationen geknetet und MIT seiner ausdrücklichen Zustimmung.
