Black Seas: USS Independence – 31,00€
USS Independence was the first ship of the line launched by the US Navy. She operated mainly as a deterrent as, during her lifetime, she was not involved in any major conflict, being blockaded in port alongside USS Constitution until the end of the War of 1812. This ship can nevertheless be used in ‘what if…?’ scenarios for the period covered by Black Seas.
Contains one resin and metal ship plus game aids.
Black Seas: USS North Carolina – 31,00€
Considered to be the most powerful naval vessel afloat during her time as flagship to US Commodore John Rodgers in the Mediterranean from 29 April 1825 to 18 May 1827. Though USS North Carolina did not see action until after the period covered by the Black Seas rulebook, the ship can be used in ‘what if…?’ scenarios.

Black Seas: USS Ohio – 31,00€
One of the few US 3rd rate ships built after the War of 1812, sailing as part of the Mediterranean Squadron under Commodore Isaac Hull in the late 1830s. Though she did not see action until after the period covered by the Black Seas rulebook, this ship can be used in ‘what if…?’ scenarios.
Contains one plastic and metal ship plus game aids.
Black Seas: Sloops Squadron – 31,00€
Sloops are tiny vessels (although larger sloops existed) usually with only one mast and a gaff rigged aft (behind the mast) sail rigged fore and aft (from the front to the rear).
Along with similarly sized unrated vessels, sloops filled the supporting roles of a navy, crucially ferrying information around the fleet.

Independence mit eine Geschwindigkeit von 4, 96 Lebenspunkte und 9 seitliche grosse Kannonen scheint sehr stark zu sein. Die Sloops gefallen mir auch sehr, die Preise aber deutlich weniger… Leider alles nicht-Plastik aus Black Seas ist ausser meine Reichweite.
Bei den Preisen fällt mir langsam nichts mehr ein.
Das dachte ich auch auch.
Ich finde es auch bedauerlich, mag das Spiel – aber erweitern werde ichs nicht mehr, das letzte waren die Schebecken von Hagen miniatures, pro stück für ca. 4-5 €, sind nur keine Segel und Stat karten dabei…
Black Seas ist ein super Spiel, keine Frage – allerdings sind sie hier mit den US Linienschiffen etwas inkonsequent.
(Von wegen: Spielt man die Staaten, so stehen einem als grösste Schiffsklasse die Superfregatten zur Verfügung.)
(Und etwas hinterher – die Independence habe ich mir aus einer 3rd Rate vor ca. 4 Monaten selbst gebaut.)
Was cool ist: Warlordgames haben auf die Kundschaft gehört und bieten nun endlich Kunsstoffmasten zu den sehr fummeligen Metalmasten der Resinschiffe an.
Aber ja, die Preise… ich bin froh, habe ich zwei 3D Drucker. Irgendwie scheint sich das als Muss zu entwickeln.
Die Preise sind ja aberwitzig. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen dass die Community da auf Dauer mitgeht..
Ich verstehe warlord games nicht, sie hätten auf eine sprue 3-4 der wichtigsten schiffstypen packen können, als zusatz in zinn Galionsfiguren, Beiboote und Zusätze – der Käse wäre gegessen, stattdessen wollen sie für ein Schlachtschiff jetzt über 31 €… und die Deutschen Händler lassen die Range jetzt fallen.
Die Preise sind echt unglaublich, fand es interessant und habe mir letzten Sommer die Startbox bei FW für 50€ geholt. Die gleiche Box kommt jetzt 70…
Habe es die USS Independence nicht die ganze Zeit über für 23€?
