Ich freu mich tierisch auf die Starterbox…
Ich auch, zusammen mit dem riesen Regel-PDF Packen von Humble Bundle gerade, wird das ein schöner Wiedereinstieg in Battletech.
Als ergänzende Info, sofern sich jemand den Kauf der Box oder auch der Miniatur direkt über den Shop von CGL überlegt – CGL (oder wer auch immer für sie den Versand übernimmt) haben circa Mitte des Jahres den Versand umgestellt und das Porto für Europa ist explodiert.
CGL versendet aktuell nur per FedEx International Economy, wodurch sich laut deren Portorechner Kosten in Höhe von schlappen 157 USD für die Box und 113 USD für die Miniatur ergeben.
Warum sollte man das tun? Also Danke für die interessante Info, ist immer wieder witzig/absurd sowas zu erfahren, aber warum sollte man dort bestellen?
Zum Glück ist das Set schon bei zB.Fantasywelt gelistet.
Genau. Wüsste allein aus dem Stehgreif vier Händler für BattleTech in D, bei denen ich dieses Jahr bestellt habe. Ein Shop wurde laut Selbstaussage sogar ins Leben gerufen, um die Verfügbarkeit hierzulande zu verbessern. Hat sogar manchmal welche von diesen seltenen bzw. Exklusiv-Packs.
Catalyst Game Labs scheint die BT-Versorgung allgemein nicht ganz konstant zu halten. Sehe keinen Grund für solche Übersee-Eskapaden, denn wir sind ganz gut versorgt hier.
Anfang des Jahres gab es bei einigen Boxen in Deutschland schon massive Lieferschwierigkeiten oder es wurden Mondpreise verlangt. Da hat sich das Bestellen beim Catalyst Shop schon gelohnt.

Ilclan scheint als Zeit ja sehr gut angenommen zu werden. Ich habe heute einen Ares Poseidon für meine Armee angemalt. Alpha Strike gibt mir momentan das, woran andere Spiele so unglaublich scheitern: Eine spannende Hintergrundgeschichte, die mir Tiefe bietet, ohne sich ständig selbst zu widersprechen. Ein einfaches Regelsystem, das optional unglaublich tief werden kann und so viele Möglichkeiten Armeen auszubauen und Bemalstile auszuprobieren. Nach einer langen Zeit als Springer zwischen verschiedenen Systemen, habe ich hier wieder eine Leidenschaft gefunden, die bis jetzt anhält.
Immerhin ist es ein Abschluss für die unsägliche Mechwarrior: Dark Age Nummer. Das ganze Gedöns mit der Republik und ihren Paladinen und Rittern ist damit eingepreist und jetzt kann es endlich vernünftig weitergehen.
Volle Zustimmung
Dem kann ich zustimmen, ausserdem macht es besonders viel Spaß die neuen Modelle mit Contrast Farben zu bemalen, die tiefen Rillen laden dazu ein…

Die Messlatte lag ja auch nicht wirklich hoch. Knapp zwei Jahrzehnte die vermurkste MWDA/MWAoD-Ära, inklusive 10 Jahre Stillstand. Die meisten sind alleine schon damit zufrieden, das es endlich was neues gibt.
Ich habe ja damals wie blöd die Romane verschlungen und Nächte lang Mech Warrior und vor allen Dingen das sehe geniale Mech Commander gezockt.
Das table top habe ich hingegen nie begonnen, keine Ahnung warum.
Wenn ich das jetzt hier so lese klingt es eigentlich sehr gut.
