Coole Minis zu guten Preisen. Wenn man mit dem Material was anfangen kann. Ich find‘s ok.
Ich finde die Details wirken doch sehr verwaschen. Gerade bei den kleineren er Viceroy Enforceres ist das auffällig. Für den Preis mit Sicherheit okay, aber ich persönlich würde dann lieber etwas Geld drauf legen und besser Qualität haben wollen.
Ja. Beides hat seine Daseinsberechtigung.
Ich investiere auch lieber in hochwertigere Minis. Aber es ist gut diese Vielfalt und Auswahl zu haben.
Ich glaube das ist ne Frage von Budget, Anwendung und Hobbyschwerpunkt.
Gibt ja Leute denen das Spielen an Sich wichtiger ist als das Malen/Basteln/Visuelle. Da passen die Reapersachen dann gut zu.
Und ehrlich: Lieber ein einigermaßen bemaltes Reaperpüppchen aufm Tisch als die geilste Mini der Welt mit „Three shades of Revell“ zugeschleimt.
Und ein echter Vorteil der Reaperpüppis ist auch die Unempfindlichkeit. Die kannst halt wirklich im Schuhkarton zur Rollenspielrunde schleifen ohne Schäden.
Zumal es vieles von Reaper ja sowohl in Metall als auch Resin gibt und beide Varianten sehr fair bepreist sind 😀
Mh..nehm ich da jetzt die 4,00 Euro Reaper-Chibi-Mini oder die Soda-Pop für das 5-fache…
Hm, leider ist dieses detailarme verwaschene echt nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Die Ideen sind gut nur schade das quasi so das Potential verschenkt wird
Die sind nicht immer verwaschen. Es schwankt da gewaltig.
Also, ich hab einiges von Reaper Bones inzwischen und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Den General einer Armee oder die Mitglieder einer kleinen Skirmisher-Bande würde ich jetzt nicht aus der Reihe nehmen, aber diese ganzen Monster, die einem bei Frostgrave, Sellswords oder in Mortheim über den Weg laufen können, da ist das schon klasse. Ich grundiere die Modelle meist grau oder weiß, male sie sauber mit Contrast an, Lack drauf, fertig. Für die siebte Riesenratte oder den zehnten Wildhund, der meinen tapferen Recken in der Wildnis über den Weg läuft, reicht das allemal.
Und bitte nicht allein von den Fotos auf die bemalten Minis schließen. Gerade mit Bones Black hat die Schärfe da deutlich zugenommen. Viele der früheren „Bones-Gegner“ aus meinem TT-Bekanntenkreis sind heute klare Bekenner des Materials, nachdem sie Bones-Black dann auch mal in Händen gehalten und bemalt haben. Noch dazu der „Grabsch- und Schmeißvorteil“, da von Bones die Farbe nicht abplatzt, selbst ohne Versiegelung (haben auf der RPC zu Testzwecken meinen bemalten Troll regelrecht auf den Boden geschmettert – nix passiert, außer dass das Streu von der Base rieselte…)
Wie mein Vorredner schon sagt, ist es doch am Ende der Zweck, der die Mittel heiligt. Reaper ist nunmal Miniaturhersteller für Rollenspiele. Aber auch für NPCs, Geländestücke, Szenariomarker etc. ist das Material ein Segen für Tabletops. Ich muss nicht unbedingt einen teuren Skelettdrachen von GW in ein Geländestück verarbeiten, wenn ich ein um vieles günstigeres Modell von Reaper bekomme, etc. Unzählige Monster und zufällige Begegnungen in diversen Tabletops kann man hiermit recht günstig darstellen. Find das schon echt okay!
