Hey everyone, we have some news and updates about Warhammer 40,000: The App. We know it wasn’t love at first sight for everyone. We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear, thanks to lots of constructive comments on our social media pages and some candid reviews from respected members of the global Warhammer community. This has helped us prioritise the most sought-after updates and solidify our plans to improve the app to make it the indispensable Warhammer tool we all want.

Our app development team has been working tirelessly – in fact, they’ve just pushed through loads of planned changes as well as moving some other ones forward based on your contributions! Let’s take a look at what’s coming to the app in the next few weeks.

Putting the App on Apple Devices

First of all, many of you have asked when Warhammer 40,000: The App will be available to download on your iPhones – and the answer is now! You can find it on the App Store by searching Warhammer 40,000: The App.

  • Wird die App komplett in Englisch bleiben?
    Nachdem ich gestern die App in der free Version herunter geladen haben,
    fand ich den Inhalt doch recht ernüchternd.

  • So richtig überzeugen tut mich diese App auch nicht Punkt ich hatte jetzt nicht damit gerechnet dass Games Workshop wie z.b. Corvus belli mit Infinity army eine App zur Verfügung stellt, in der quasi komplette Regeln etc. kostenfrei zugreifbar ist. Allerdings hatte ich eher gedacht, dass wird so etwas wie die War Room App von Privateer. Aber spätestens mit dem Abomodell war das Interesse weg.

  • Schade, dass der Held der Steine nur Lego kommentiert, zu der App hätte er bestimmt auch viel zu sagen…

    • Na wenn der Marktführer sich schon so ins Zeug wirft und sich solche Mühe für seine zahlenden Kunden gibt, kann halt echt nichts schief gehen.
      Egal wo man sich umschaut die Rückmeldungen sind durchgehend positiv und die treuen Fans jubeln, alles richtig gemacht!

      Wer braucht denn da schon umständliche und kostenfreie Alternativen wenn es auch so geht.

      Bin mir sicher der Held der Steine würde das so ähnlich sehen!

    • Einen Monat gratis als „Wertschätzung“ für die „glücklichen“ Beta-Tester! Unglaublich, wie sich die Aktiengesellschaft wieder selbst feiert!

    • Immer wenn ich von dem Videos schaue denk ich mir, dass es echt faszinierent ist wie viele Prallelen es zwischen LEGO und GW gibt. Da kannst du 90% 1:1 übertragen. Außer dass bei GW zumindest meistens die Qualität stimmt.

  • Bislang ist diese App ja nicht nötig, daher kann sie so gut oder schlecht sein, wie sie will. Bei XW nutzt ja auch keiner die FFG-App.

    Oder ist zu Vermuten, dass GW mit dem Erscheinen dieser App jetzt die Jagdsaison auf andere Armeelistenbuilder eröffnet?

  • ich finds interessant das gw es geschafft hat, den warroom von privateer press gut aussehen zu lassen.XD man sagt ja normal das gut geklaut halb gewonnen ist, dass klauen scheinen sie sich dieses mal wohl gespart zu haben.

    • Ah komm, War Room is technisch nicht das Gelbe vom Ei (wobei massiv besser geworden im lauf der Zeit) aber inhaltlich exakt das was du von einer App für’s Tabletop erwartest.

      Außerdem nicht von Privateer Press gemacht, sondern als Lizenzvertrag von Tinkerhouse, die haben’s also vergeigt 😉

      • jo. ich benutz den warroom durchgehend. das war auch eher darauf gemünzt, dass der warroom damals so kaputt geredet worden ist.

  • Prima Abo-Abzocke!
    Regelmäßiges bezahlen ohne Mehwert für Inhalt, den man vorher bereits in Form von Büchern bezahlt hat in einer schlecht programmierten App.

    Reife Leistung GW.
    Soviel Geldgier ist selbst für deren Verhätlnisse neu.
