Warcaster: Collision Course Kickstarter

Der zweite Kickstarter zu Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika läuft.

Und darum geht es:

Pip Warcaster Collision Course Kickstarter 1

Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika is a high-speed hobby miniatures game where players collect and customize a battle force of 35mm scale warriors and warjacks and play out epic, scenario- driven battles across a tabletop.

Pip Warcaster Collision Course Kickstarter 2

Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika was brought to life through a Kickstarter campaign in March of 2020. Fulfillment completed in October of 2020, and this Kickstarter campaign introduces a new faction as well as many new models and rules to expand the game.

Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika Starter Sets for the Marcher Worlds, Iron Star Alliance and Aeternus Continuum factions will be available in stores and for sale in our ONLINE STORE on October 23rd.

Pip Warcaster Collision Course Kickstarter 3

Collision Course is the first expansion for the Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika tabletop miniatures game, taking battles over the Thousand Worlds to the next level with:

  • 24 new Cypher cards, including Faction Cyphers to make your rack truly distinct!

And the Collision Course rules booklet that contains:

  • 6 new scenarios for Skirmish and Full Battle games
  • New rules for mantlets
  • Rules for adding vehicles to your battle force and rules and scenarios for Race Mode, a new way to play Warcaster with a focus on vehicular combat
  • Expanded lore on the all-new Empyrean Faction

We also have several Stretch Goals planned that will enhance the contents of the Collision Course expansion with more Cypher cards and additional scenarios to pack it with as much excitement as possible!

Alongside the Collision Course expansion, we are introducing the new Empyrean Faction to Warcaster as well as three new Wild Card Hero models and new vehicle, warjacks, squads, and solo (or attachment) models for every Faction.

Vehicles are a new class of unit that can be included in any battle force and played in any game format. The vehicles featured in this Kickstarter are on our all-new 80mm base and include multiple weapons for customized load outs. Better still, each vehicle has a corresponding Hero pilot and weapon combo available as an Add-On or a free reward to many pledge levels if this Kickstarter reaches $100,000!

The Collision Course expansion introduces rules for Race Mode —a new game variation that uses vehicles with Warcaster race mats. The race mats along with the rules are designed to provide an endless track for vehicles to race across and battle over with a variety of scenarios focused on vehicular combat.

Und das ist die neue Fraktion:

When humanity first arrived, desperate and afraid, they were watching. When the universe unfolded around them, with its countless, seemingly abandoned paradises bound by a star-spanning latticework of gateways constructed in deepest celestial antiquity by unknown hands, the new visitors called it providence. Where they found the few agents of the ancients who remained, they pushed them aside or engaged in direct conflict. Eyes wide with greed and wonder, humanity spread across the silent stars, bringing with them war and death and untold destruction, jeopardizing the carefully constructed order of the universe and emboldening old enemies exiled beyond the darkness between the stars.

The Empyreans are the ancient Architects that connected the Thousand Worlds of Cyriss. Over countless millennia, they designed and crafted the Hyperuranion— a galaxy-spanning network of interdimensional conduits that allowed the faithful to unify the known universe, rendering all in their path pure and immortal. Those who saw the truth abandoned their mortal existence and joined in the Great Work, a constellation of souls at the center of the galaxy. But the unenlightened were shown the folly of their flesh, and the Thousand Worlds were emptied of any who might disrupt the eternal rapture of the Empyreans.

Pip Warcaster Collision Course Kickstarter 12

For an unknown age, the Empyreans enjoyed the fruits of their labors until the arrival of humanity threatened all they had achieved. Not only have humanity’s wars and predations ruined worlds and damaged vital astronomical infrastructure, but they have also drained the Hyperuranion of Arcanessence, the lifeblood of the galaxy. This resource is being consumed faster than it can be replenished, threatening both the Empyreans and their Great Work with extinction. Unwilling to accept oblivion, the Empyreans have once again taken the offensive, deploying newly created legions built to eradicate the human pestilence that plagues their galaxy.

The armies of the Empyreans are composed of a myriad of robotic constructs, each specializing in some unique method of destruction. They take a variety of forms, from the formidable Saber warriors that make up the backbone of the Empyrean forces to the terrifyingly powerful Daemon and Sentinel warjacks that possess unparalleled firepower and technology beyond the ken of human comprehension. The robot horde is led by the Aeons—ancient souls encased in mechanical bodies. These heroes have pledged their immortal existence to returning balance to Cyriss and the protection of the Great Work through the complete annihilation of humanity. And for those who have held eternity in their hands, it is only a matter of time.

Hier einige der Modelle:

A Warcaster is the pinnacle of power, a being capable of harnessing and manipulating the cosmic forces that can fuel mechanika and conjure ancient reality-warping Cyphers. The mind of a Warcaster has been forged into the ultimate weapon: by channeling Arcanessence, they are able to coordinate an entire battle force while simultaneously augmenting that force’s combat prowess by remotely channeling arcane energies into their weapons, armor, and even their formidable war machines. In a galaxy beleaguered by constant conflict, the Warcasters are the champions of their nations, worlds, and empires, waging war with each other like gods moving pieces across a chessboard.

In Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika, YOU are the Warcaster. You are not a pawn on the tabletop; you are the god making the moves. Charged with valuable Arcanessence, you will customize your powers and the load outs of your warjacks, choose the composition of your battle force, and lay waste to all that stands before you.

Kommen wir also zu den Pledges:

Pip Warcaster Collision Course Kickstarter 32

Included in our Stretch Goals are several Stretch Goal “Supply Drops.” When we unlock a Supply Drop, you’ll receive Armory Credits and Provisions Credits that will add up as our funding rises higher and more Supply Drops are unlocked.

Your pledge level determines how many Armory Credits and Provisions Credits you will receive each time a Supply Drop is unlocked. In the pledge manager after the end of the campaign, you’ll be able to spend your Armory Credits and Provisions Credits on rewards from the Quartermaster!

NOTE: Only Bronze, Silver, and Gold reward levels are eligible for Armory Credits and Provision Tokens. The Rules Expansion + New Cypher Deck and Retailer Reservation reward levels do not receive Armory Credits and Provisions Tokens. Provided we achieve $100k in funding, Retail Reservation pledges will include 3 copies of each of the vehicle Hero and Weapon Add-Ons.

    • Ja, hast Du in letzter Zeit irgendwo was größeres von denen gesehen?

    • Echt?

      • Kommt darauf an, wofür du pledged.
