Denizens of Dünnmere: Kickstarter läuft
Eine Reihe schön schräger Fantasymodelle kommt von Monkstone Miniatures.
The Kingdoms of Dünnmere
Long ago the forests were ruled by the great boars and sows of Westerwood. They lived in huge sounders and held council with the other forest tribes. Now they are but a shadow of what they were, finding work where they can as bodyguards, pit-fighters and mercenaries.
Dünnmere is an original fantasy setting inspired by dark folklore. It is filled with all manner of odd critters and characters, and with this Kickstarter I wanted to shed some light on a few of its inhabitants.
The Miniatures
My miniatures are sculpted digitally, then 3d printed and cast in high quality resin. The five main figures (Glömm the Collector, Gruntlac Gatecrusher, Gorgrot, Porgroth the Gluttonous and Olaug) come with 40mm round bases.
Maggot and Rollo are available as add-ons and come with 25mm round bases. To add them to your pledge simply add £8 for each one you’d like and at the end of the Kickstarter you will be asked which add-ons you would like.
The three pigs each come with an alternative bare-head.
The miniatures are 28mm scale and are made to be compatible with ranges like Dungeons and Dragons, Age of Sigmar, Frostgrave and any other 28mm miniature based games.

Die Kampagne läuft noch rund 19 Tage.
Wollte einsteigen, bei den Preisen bin ich aber leider raus. Kleinserie, kleiner Hersteller, alles ok- für mich ist die Schmerzgrenze da trotzdem überschritten.
Ich mag die Minis alle sehr – aber der Preis ist schon ne Hausnummer, und viel gravierender für mich kommt dazu, dass die Lieferung in die heisse Phase nach dem Brexit fällt, mit allen Zoll- und Lieferschwierigkeiten, die dann denkbar sind. Leider leider nein.
Glömm ist wirklich eine schöne Figur. Mit Versand 23 €. Ist nicht ganz billig, aber auch noch vertretbar für den Spaß des Malabends, den man damit verbringt…
wunderbare Sachen
Die Schnecke is ziemlich cool und für die Größe auch nicht teuer.
Wirklich klasse Designs. Ich bin tatsächlich eingestiegen, auch wenn die ordentlich kosten. Aber für mich spielt da auch der Gedanke mit rein, dass Monkstone mit einem erfolgreichen Kickstarter in Zukunft noch mehr von diesen tollen Designs raushauen 😉
