This massive monster (pictured here next to figure on a 25mm base) is just one of the big resin figures we will be offering as paid add-on’s during the Time of the Orcs kickstarter campaign coming in October.   • Jupp, die sind richtig geil! Versprühen einen schönen old school Charme, ohne hässlich und altbacken rüber zu kommen. Altes Design in neuer handwerklicher Technik…weiß nicht, wie ich das anders ausdrücken soll…

    Ich bin kurz davor, dass ich da mitmache.

  • Meine Favoriten sind Fancy Dan & Kraal Longsmile wegen der Säbel (HeroQuest, Claymore Saga & altes WHFB), aber auch der Helme: das Visier ist einfach so coole frühe 90er und Pferde(?)haar-Helmbüsche & Topknots sind einfach nicht zu schlagen bei Fantasy!

    Allerdings wirkt die Modellierung jetzt aber nicht so gut modernisiert auf mich. Da gibt es sowohl schönere original Old-School-Figuren als auch bessere Retro-Knetereien mMn (z.B. von Otherworld – allerdings keine GWesken Orks, aber z.B. die Gnolle sind großartig).

    • Die Goblins hier sind tatsächlich ehemalige Otherworld Minis, und wie auch die Orks von John Pickford geknetet. Finde aber auch dass die Sachen bei Otherworld, die Paul Muller gemacht hat noch besser sind. Wobei der auch ein absoluter Ausnahmekneter ist.

      • Oh ja! Seine Ghoule von Otherworld und Heresy sind einfach unglaublich toll – schaurig! Aber wenn ich z.B. an den Otherworld Riesen (eindeutig vom Citadel Giant der Perrys inspiriert) oder die genialsten Kobolde aller Zeiten von Pickford denke, weiß ich nicht wer bei mir den Titel Ausnahmekneter erhält…. hm vielleicht doch Kev, wegen der tollen Schweineschnauzenorks? 😉
