Forge World: Neuheiten aus Mittelerde
Die Warhammer Community zeigen zum Warhammer Fest Neuheiten aus Mittelerde von Forge World.
Last week we unveiled the Warhammer World and Events exclusive Thorin’s Company, which will be available for the first time at Warhammer Fest. This week, we’re following it up with a couple more exciting exclusive First Access releases you’ll be able to pick up at Warhammer Fest on Saturday 27th – Sunday 28th May.
First up is the hulking form of the Troll Brute. A towering slab of tortured muscle, this horrific war beast is unleashed by Azog’s Legion in the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies™, where it stomps and smashes its way through the Iron Hills army until Bofur the Dwarf takes matters into his own hands!
If you haven’t seen the Troll Brute before, it’s one of the cruellest additions to Azog’s Legion, with its arms and feet removed and replaced with massive spiked weapons… and the whole thing is controlled by an Orc sat on the chair high on its back. The kit comes complete with both a Gundabad Orc and a Bofur the Dwarf model to pilot it (perfect for recreating the Scenarios in The Hobbit: Motion Picture Trilogy™ There and Back Again).
Our next exciting First Access release for Warhammer Fest is the brand new Gwaihir™ the Windlord, the latest addition to the burgeoning Middle-earth™ Character Series. This gorgeous model captures the king of the Great Eagles in the act of ploughing a Hunter Orc on Fell Warg into the ground. Gwahir’s mighty beak is open in a piercing shriek and his talons are closing in on the pinned Warg’s throat, even as the stricken Orc rider fearfully brandishes his sword. It’s a stunning visual that evokes the sudden fury of the Eagles as they rescue Thorin Oakenshield™ and his company from the burning cliff edge at the conclusion of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey™.
This Forge World resin model comes with an impressive scenic base, detailed with rocky soil laced with tree roots, and the whole miniature is presented in one of the glorious Middle-earth™ Character Series boxes.
All of these miniatures will be available in limited numbers at Warhammer Fest. See you there!
