For centuries the kingdom was at war, but once again the realm of men prevailed against the evil hordes of darkness. Victory came at a high cost. The capital is devastated, the king is dead and his only heir, the prince, has been heavily wounded.
As knights of honor, you are sworn to protect the prince and make sure his bloodline continues. You have escaped from battle and hidden in a remote village, but you fear that your presence will not remain unnoticed. Scattered troops of monsters are still roaming the land in search of the prince’s whereabouts.
This morning you sent out ravens carrying your request for reinforcements, but it will take at least three more days and nights until you can expect them to arrive. In the meantime, your only chance is to defend the village, its citizens and the prince’s life at all costs.
You are the last barrier between hope and chaos. Can you withstand the hordes of darkness, protect the helpless and defend the throne?

Das habe ich mit einem der Designer gespielt. Das „letzte Verteidigung“-Gefühl kommt sehr gut rüber. Das liegt zum einen an der guten Spieltisch-Präsenz, aber auch an den guten Regeln, die das Spiel fordernd machen, aber nicht so frustig schwer wie Last Bastion werden lassen. Ich werde es aber am liebsten im reinen Coop-Modus spielen, Semi-Coop ist nicht so meins.
Kann auch aus erster Hand berichten, dass das Spiel einfach großartig und sehr stimmungsvoll ist.
Es gibt übrigens in der Box auch sehr schicke Miniaturen für die Ritter und ein kleines 3D-Karton-Dorf mit Palisaden… 😀
Ah, im Diced-Video sieht man die Minis ja direkt mit Ausschnitten aus dem KS-Video. 🙂

Stimmt! Gerade mal wieder so eine Viel-Arbeit-Phase, aber ab Ende März wird’s entspannter. 🙂
