Coming Next Week: Battle Sisters Galore!

The Adepta Sororitas are set to march forth in defence of the Imperium in unprecedented numbers, as the codex and first batch of multipart plastic kits are up for pre-order next weekend! Let’s take a look at what exactly will be available on the long-awaited launch weekend of the Sisters of Battle…*

Codex: Adepta Sororitas

Available separately for the first time, Codex: Adepta Sororitas is your ultimate guide to the elite military wing of the Ecclesiarchy. Not only does it include extensive background on the Sisters of Battle and a stunning miniatures showcase, but inside you’ll also find the full rules for fielding them in battle.

These rules include 27 unit datasheets, bespoke Order Convictions and more than 30 Stratagems, alongside Warlord Traits, Relics of the Ecclesiarchy, Tactical Objectives, matched play points and more.

The codex will be available as a standard hardback and lavish collector’s edition, as well as in ePub and enhanced digital formats.

Dice and Datacards

No self-respecting, faithful subject of the God-Emperor would wage war on the enemies of Mankind without the assistance of Ecclesiarchy-sanctioned datacards and dice! The Adepta Sororitas Datacards set includes handy reference cards for all 36 of their Tactical Objectives, 38 Stratagems and 6 Sacred Rites. Meanwhile, the 20 dice are designed to appear as stained glass windows, and each features a large fleur-de-lys icon in place of a 6 and a haloed skull icon in place of a 1 – there’s no thrill quite like rolling a big handful of thematic dice!

The Heart of the Order

The Battle Sister and Retributor Squads, and their trusty cherubs, will also be will also be reporting for duty as of next week, providing you with four of the most integral units available to the Adepta Sororitas. If you want to blow your enemies away with the heaviest combinations of the Holy Trinity – bolter, flamer and melta – look no further than the Retributors.

The Battle Sister Squad enables you to build the archetypal Troops unit of the Adepta Sororitas. However, the frames include loads of additional components and wargear options, making it possible to assemble the kit as elite Celestians or assault-weapon-toting Dominions instead.

The Triumph of St. Katherine

Though long-dead, Saint Katherine’s body nonetheless serves as a focal point for the God-Emperor’s divine might. Wherever her funerary procession goes, the faithful will fight with renewed vigour, and the chosen representatives of the six Matriarchs who accompany her bear sacred relics to further inspire those in the presence of the fallen saint.

Simply put, this is one of the most intricately designed and visually impressive kits we’ve ever seen, so whether you’re a painter looking for your next project or are after an incredible centrepiece for your army or collection, this is the answer!

GW The Triumph Of St. Katherine

It’s only one week to wait until you can pre-order all these Adepta Sororitas kits.

* Don’t worry, the Adeptus Mechanicus has been hard at work ensuring that there will be a plentiful supply of arms, munitions (and boxed sets) to fuel the upcoming Eccelsiarchal crusade!
