Soon, both the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance will have the chance to supplement their forces with some of the Clone Wars’ most cutting-edge military technology. Fantasy Flight Games is happy to announce two new Unit Expansions for Star Wars™: Legion:
- BARC Speeder Unit Expansion
- Droidekas Unit Expansion
BARC Speeder Unit Expansion – 24.95 USD (oder 19.95 USD, Angaben sind widersprüchlich)
Versatile and swift, BARC speeders are designed to assist clone troopers as they scout the field, protect key targets, and launch rapid surprise attacks. These durable speeder bikes are armed with heavy blasters and fitted with powerful engines, making them useful in nearly any theater of ground war across the galaxy.
Within the BARC Speeder Unit Expansion, you’ll find one unpainted, finely sculpted BARC speeder miniature identical to the miniature included in the Star Wars: Legion Clone Wars Core Set. If you choose, this miniature can include a sidecar featuring a built-in M-45 Ion Blaster or a Mark II Medium Blaster. Similarly, a Phase I Clone Trooper can fire an RPS-6 rocket launcher from the sidecar. This expansion also includes a unit card and an assortment of six upgrade cards inviting you to outfit your speeder to fit your personal battle plan.
Droidekas Unit Expansion – 29,95 USD
Versatile and extremely destructive, Droidekas are a threat to even veteran squads of clone troopers and skilled Jedi Knights—and when B1 Battle Droids fail, droidekas are often sent to execute their primary function: annihilation of their targets. Rolling swiftly into battle, droidekas unleash their arm-mounted twin blasters, pouring out withering torrents of fire.
The Droidekas Unit Expansion lets you support your droid forces with some of the most powerful combat droids in the galaxy. Four finely detailed, unpainted Droideka miniatures identical to those found in the Star Wars: Legion Clone Wars Core Set represent your Droidekas as they speed across the battlefield in wheel mode and unleash suppressive fire in their attack configuration. Meanwhile, a unit card fully outlines the Droidekas abilities while three upgrade cards give you the freedom to modify them with comms systems.
Representing radically different approaches to vehicular combat, these Unit Expansions can support your troops in every phase of the battle. BARC Speeder Unit Expansion
Versatile and swift, BARC speeders are designed to assist clone troopers as they scout the field, protect key targets, and launch rapid surprise attacks. These durable speeder bikes are armed with heavy blasters and fitted with powerful engines, making them useful in nearly any theater of ground war across the galaxy.
Although they may be defined by their great speed, BARC speeders provide the Grand Army of the Republic with much more than a target that’s hard to hit. An optional sidecar leaves room for you to equip your BARC speeder with a range of weaponry, instantly turning it into a heavy weapons platform. When combined with the speeder’s built-in Twin Light Blaster Canons, driver and passenger can unleash an attack powerful enough to damage the heaviest Separatist droids.
Within the BARC Speeder Unit Expansion, you’ll find one unpainted, finely sculpted BARC speeder miniature different than the miniature included in the Star Wars: Legion Clone Wars Core Set—now featuring pilots in BARC Speeder Pilot armor. Droidekas Unit Expansion
Versatile and extremely destructive, Droidekas are a threat to even veteran squads of clone troopers and skilled Jedi Knights—and when B1 Battle Droids fail, droidekas are often sent to execute their primary function: annihilation of their targets. Rolling swiftly into battle, droidekas unleash their arm-mounted twin blasters, pouring out withering torrents of fire.
The Separatist Alliance’s own take on a ground vehicle, Droidekas are completely self-sufficient, quickly rolling into battle in wheel mode, then snapping into position and opening fire with their powerful Dual Twin Blaster Cannons. Equipped with their own shield generators, only the Republic’s most hardened troops can hold off a frontal assault from a determined pair of Droidekas for long.

Ähm, euch ist da glaub ich ,ein Fehler unterlaufen, der speeder der clone müsste genauso viel kosten wie die druidika 🧐🤓
Gerade nachgeschaut. Kosten nicht ganz das gleiche, 29,95 vs 24,95 Dollar. Allerdings sind die Angaben beim Speeder im FFG-Shop widersprüchlich, in der Einzelansicht des Produkts stehen 19,95 Dollar.

Die Droidekas finde ich immer noch cool. Und die haben die auch gut als Miniaturen umgesetzt.
Beim Klon-Bike muss ich aber passen. Das dürfte aus der Clone Wars Serie stammen, die ich nur sehr sporadisch verfolgt habe.
Aber ich denke eh nicht, dass ich bei Legion auch noch in die Prequel Zeitschiene einsteigen werde – da reicht mir die OT völlig aus.
Mich haben FF erst mit Clone Wars gekriegt… und das obwohl ich eher ein Fan der Episode 4,5 und 6 bin. Ich kann mir halt ein Tabletop im Bereich eines Intergalaktischen Krieges besser vorstellen als in den kleinen Scharmützeln zwischen Rebellen und Imperium.
Leider finde ich die Bikes für ein so kleines Spielfeld als Support irgendwie unpassend… da werde ich sobald wie möglich auf andere Unterstützung setzen. Die Droidikas sind absolut Klasse 🙂

Das ist bei mir sehr ähnlich. Nur werde ich wahrscheinlich, aufgrund fehlender Mitspieler, nicht einsteigen.
Ich sehe das ähnlich wie Terror-Bär und obwohl ich es passend finde das Droidekas als erste Erweiterung (nach den Standard Droiden) kommen hätte ich als Gegenpol zum Bike ja Droiden auf STAPs passender gefunden. (bzw. Schwere Klon-Waffen gegen Droidekas)
War aber auch absehbar das zuerst die Komponenten aus dem Starter zweitverwertet werden ehe man neue Gußformen anfängt
Vom Helmdesign sind die dann aus STAR WARS 3 und die Klon Truppen in der Starterbox haben die Phase 1 Rüstungen aus STAR WARS 2.

Spricht etwas gegen durchsichtige Bases?
Die müssen ja nur genauso groß und dick wie die original Bases sein.
Ein gescheiter Darth Maul wäre mal toll…

Darth Maul ist auch ein Charaktermodell, das am besten nicht als einzelner Guss verkauft wird, sondern in zwei Teilen 😛

Die Renderbilder zeigen die Helme aus der 2. Phase, die Fotos (das letzte im Beitrag) wiederum aus der 1. Phase. Wenn wir Glück haben, könnte man vll. die Köpfe bei den Speeder austauschen. Wer weiß…
Gegen transparente Bases spricht eigentlich nichts dagegen, nur müssen sie eben a.) den gleichen Umfang/gleiche Höhe und b.) die „Winkellinien“ für die Fahrzeuge haben.
Bezüglich Klontruppen: Momentan sind nur die Phase 1 Klontruppen angekündigt. Diese befinden sich in der Starterbox und in der Erweiterungspack „Klonkrieger“. Bei den Speedern bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob sich die Optik (außer Helm) stark geändert hat über die Zeit.
PS: Dann müsste man Anakin auch in verschiedenen „Teilen“ anbieten. Packungsinhalt: „Mit dieser Expansionspack kannst du eine Anakin-Figur – entweder als General Anakin oder als Weltraumkebab auf Mustafa – bauen.“ XD
