Miniature Scenery haben auf Facebook eine letzte Preview für die HMS Siren gepostet.
Mousemuffins has finally stopped making changes to HMS Siren!
Optional Capstan Bars and Chainpump hand cranks have been pushed through the final edits and crammed into the instructions for that extra bit of crazy detail.
Pre-order for the HMS Siren will be later this week, with a special pre-order price of $270aud which includes a free custom ship name plate.
After the release of HMS Siren the price will be $290aud (custom name plate extra).
The base kit will include:
– Complete MDF and Cardboard hull
– Stump masts for game play
– Details such as stove, chain pumps and capstan winch
– 16x resin 6 pounder cannon

einfach wiedereinmal eine fantastische Arbeit.
zum Glück brauch ich zur Zeit kein Schiff …
Wenn es die Kanonen als Einzelset geben würde, da hätte ich durchaus Interesse. Aber das ganze Schiff, auch wenn es recht gut gemacht scheint und nett aussieht, passt es einfach nicht ins Gelände Budget.
Mich stören leider zu viele Kleinigkeiten an dem Schiff. Angefangen von den Drehbrassen, die man zugegebenermassen einfach weglassen kann, über das Ankerspill, seltsame Position, und die Masten, die auf mich seltsam wirken.
Ein Zweimaster hätte stimmiger gewirkt, aber eine 3 Ship-Sloop… dafür wirkt es für mich zu klein und eng auf den Bildern.
Für ein Umbau Projekt ist es mir (subjektiv!) dann etwas zu teuer.
