Artis Opus: Size M Pinsel auf Kickstarter

Der neue Artis Opus Kickstarter läuft.

Founded on beauty and ergonomic design, Artis Opus combines premium quality, durability and elegance. We use only the finest components in our products, making us the natural choice for both aspiring and leading painters.

Working from our solid foundation of high quality components and functional application, Series M has been designed to be a perfect fit for the purpose. Our larger handle is also designed to be both distinctive and practical.

Following the successful completion of our first project, Series S, painters from all over the world reached out to us to discuss their different techniques and approach to the hobby.

After 6 further months of R&D, we are excited to bring you Series M: a different approach.

AO Artis Opus Series M 1

Through further research, we discovered that „Miniature size brushes“ are a desired addition to many painter’s arsenals.

These brushes feature a shorter, smaller point, in contrast to normal brushes like Series S.

Series M has been designed with the insight of Katarzyna Gorza, a prolific and talented artist within the industry. Katarzyna describes them as „the perfect miniature series“.

AO Artis Opus Series M 2

Series M has been designed and will be built to the same rigorous standards of quality that we upheld with Series S, using only the highest grade pure Kolinsky Sable. Users can expect the same durability and longevity, as well as pristine, perfect points, and our broader ergonomic handles to increase comfort over long hours of painting.

AO Artis Opus Series M 3

Users new to Artis Opus brushes will easily adjust to the increased width, and then benefit from the comfort, avoiding ‘painter’s cramp’, and allowing them to paint for longer. The singular design of Series M produces a tip with less flex than traditionally shaped brushes, allowing for an unyielding head.

Miniature brushes are defined by their shorter heads, with less length to the bristles they have less flex. Some artists use these stiffer brushes for detail work, freehand, line-work, etc, while others use them for the majority of painting as a matter of personal preference. Whatever the use ‘Miniatures’ are employed when there is a need for precision, accuracy, and control.

AO Artis Opus Series M 4

We think our brushes handles and balance are perfect, so we’ve kept the broader ‘grip’, to aid comfort and control, and not changed anything but the heads.

Solid Wooden Box: Made from solid beech, our box is picked for its simplicity and beauty. Both classic and practical, it is able to withstand the wear sustained in travel or transport, while keeping your brushes secure and safe. Our unique foam insert firmly grips brushes. Widened chambers along with „grippy“ brush protectors ensure that the brush-heads are kept in pristine condition.

AO Artis Opus Series M 5

Soap: Handmade like our brushes, our soap gently cleans and conditions brushes, removing even the most stubbornly ingrained paint. Cherry scented (in contrast to the Bergamot scent in Series S).
