Where there are bounty hunters there must, by definition, be those who have a bounty placed on their heads. Often these are violent outlaws, criminals or psychopaths.
One of Johnny Alpha’s previous partners, Sniffer Martinez, was gunned down by Kansyr on the planet Laz in Alpha’s early days as an SD Agent. Using the Halugin weapon he stole on Laz, Kansyr went on to become crime lord of the planet Metastis.
Taking part in the ancient annual death-rite known as The Killing on planet Zdwhkkrswrld (more commonly known as Zed!), Johnny and Wulf cross paths with the android Steelkreeg. Holding the two SD agents off in a bell tower using his flamethrower he eventually meets his demise!
A two-faced mutant gang leader in the Spice System, Billy Joe forced Johnny into a duel with las-whips, the outcome a foregone conclusion as the gang leader was the system’s champion for the last 16 years.

Mork Riders – 2x – 15,00 GBP
Bounty Hunters often need to track their quarry into the wildlands beyond towns and cities, and on many worlds the indigenous Morks are the mount of choice.
These bipedal mammals combine speed and durability with a seemingly high tolerance of radiation making them ideal steeds for bounty hunter and outlaw alike. Mork farms are not an unusual sight in the homesteads on the fringes of civilisation.
Johnny Alpha and his Viking partner Wulf Sternhammer make good use of Morks on many of their bounty-hunting jobs – from tackling the vicious alien outlaws Bubo and his gang of Howler Bad Boys to protecting alien farmsteaders from bullying neighbours intent on driving the Search/Destroy agents out. Allying speed and resilience, Morks can reliably get them to where they need to be – much to the chagrin of their quarry!

Also die Mork Riders sind nice, die würden sich auch auf den immer öfter auftauchenden Tatooine-Tischen gut machen…aber mit dem Rest werde ich einfach nicht warm, diese alten 80er Jahre Briten-Comics triggern bei mir so gar nichts
Die Morks kann man sich wirklich gut als Reittier auf einem anderen Wüstenplaneten der Wahl vorstellen 🙂
Ansonsten: Tja… teile ich persönlich da auch dein Gefühl – Strontium Dog ist allem Anschein nach eine wirklich gut gemachte Umsetzung der besagten Comics… das Design der Karten etc. das sieht alles sehr stimmig aus… nur leider machen mich die Original Comics überhaupt gar nicht an – das ist einfach eine Stil den ich persönlich nie schön fand – obwohl ich Comics wirklich schon lange sammle und eben nicht die US-Comics sondern eben auch gerne europäische Alben. Vielleicht macht mal einer ein „Storm“-Tabletop 🙂
Die Minis sind so herrlich abgefahren, ich will gerne, dass sie mir gefallen. Aber ohne den COmic zu kennen, macht´s bei mir eben nicht klack(!). Ein weiteres System muss echt nicht sein, aber in bestehende oder zukünftige (Gangfight Regeln) hätt ich sie gerne reingenommen.
Wie den Vorschreibern gefallen mir die Mork Riders auch sehr gut. Der dick gewordene, unrasierte Spiderman aus der oberen Reihe ist aber auch klasse.
Dicker unrasierter Spiederman… Made my Day, komme vor lachen kaum zum tippen. Die Namesnfindung ist einfach nur genial.^^
