Shattered Void: Kickstarter Update
White Dragon Miniatures haben ein Update zu Shattered Void veröffentlicht.
Ladies and Gentleman of the Backing Squad: Hello!
Firstly, let me introduce myself as the newly appointed contact person for the Shattered Void Kickstarter Fulfilment Project.
My name is Jo I will be taking over the updates for the next few months and planning to see it to its fulfilment. The ultimate question always is: when? Alan is looking to get the casting out of the way by the end of July (yes, 2018). If it’s a very hot summer this can affect casting, but hey, this is Britain, so doubtful. So I would like to show you what has been done in the last weeks to bring us closer to the Big Shipping Day.
The following models have been printed:
This is what happens when Alan forgets to check the scale.
They look quite mint (pictures do not do the justice and also the rear guns are not in the picture) and currently waiting for the sprues to be build and then off we go with casting!
In addition, a variety of EEF and Vitruvian ships are being made as we speak and that includes Altar Fighter, Draconus Heavy Fighter, Amarock Interceptor, Jaguar Light Gunship, Ursus Heavy Gunship, Overload Starcraft and Rock Minelayer.
Also, the following Vitruvian add-ons are drying in the moulds: Dubuk Fighter, Hekatte Heave Fighter, Naris Interceptor, Jalixin Corvette, Tarnus Shield Corvette and Karsyn Stealth Fighter. Yep, quite a few of them has been enveloped in the silicone goodness.
More updates to follow soon but as you can see things are starting to take shape. Literally.
So, what’s new at the White Dragon Miniatures?
We have been busy with the last few shows (Salute, Chillcon and Hammerhead where we had the pleasure to speak to quite a few of you) and developing line of Courage in Contact to keep the company in a healthy shape. As Alan explained in the previous posts, vital part of keeping afloat is to continue planning for the future and our time still have to be divided between the fulfilment of the Kickstarter and brainstorming for tomorrow. Being one of the first Backers myself I know how frustrating the waiting can be and trust me, pushing the Kickstarter out of the door (less and less gently with time but equally firmly) is always my priority.
That is for now but feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions, comments, complains or compliments (as the old line in my day job says) and I will do my best to address them. Until then, do keep an eye on future updates and let me thank you again for your patience and understanding.
We would not be where we are right now without you and your continued support.
