The Great Old Ones are coming, and only an elite group of investigators will be able to stop them. Fatima is the first brave soul we get a chance to see, featuring art design by Karl Kopinski and a miniature sculpted under the supervision of Mike McVey.
For the Great Old Ones to return, they need to be summoned. That is the work of the dedicated Cultists, who have long served these ancient gods. Today, we get a first look at the evil forces behind this Lovecraftian Adventure.
After years of facing off against Cultists, there is a world of pain, torment, and mystery behind the restrained British demeanor of Lord Adam Benchley. His fellow investigators know to give him his space, lest his steely glare should fall upon them.
Nightmares can take many forms, and when those nightmares are coming from a place beyond time or space, they can be difficult for the human mind to process. It took the twisted talents of Adrian Smith to come up with the designs of the Fire Vampires.
Despite their evil nature, some Investigators struggle with killing off the Cultists working to summon the Elder Ones. Borden doesn’t have those same conflicts. She sees it as a soothing exercise.
Shoggoths are described as being massive amoeba-like creatures made out of iridescent black slime, with multiple eyes floating on the surface.
