The Battletome
Battletome: Beasts of Chaos transforms a handful of factions – Brayherds, Warherds, Thunderscorn and the Monsters of Chaos – into a single, brutally effective fighting force.
Inside the book you’ll find new lore exploring the twisted wilds of the Mortal Realms, from the rumoured origins of the Beasts of Chaos to their insidious plans to despoil reality and return to the Age of Chaos, with a closer look at everything from how these monsters go to war to their unusual relationship with Chaos itself.
You’ll be able to customise your army more than ever before thanks to a huge host of new rules – from unique Command Traits for the Brayherds, Warherds and Thunderscorn, to magical spells and extra abilities for dedicating your army to one of the Greatfrays. The Accessoires

The Beasts of Chaos Warscroll Cards feature new-format cards for all 29 warscrolls from the new battletome – including endless spells and the Herdstone – as well as two invaluable token sheets that let you track anything from spell effects to summoning points, or anything else you might need to remember.
A set of special Beasts of Chaos Dice, meanwhile, have been designed to match your army perfectly, with distinct designs on every face.
Start Collecting! Beasts of Chaos

Spannend, der erste Release seit langen der mir durch die Bank weg nicht gefällt. Alles wirkt sehr 90ger oder wie die schlechteren Minis des Mantic und Reaper Sortiments
Jepp, da fehlt einfach jeglicher Marvel-Hero-Comicstyle. 😁

Ein schönes Beispiel dafür, wie sich die Fangemeinde des alten Warhammer von der Fangemeinde eines Age of Sigmar doch inzwischen entfernt hat. Die Modelle sind tatsächlich die ersten quasi 1 zu 1 Neuauflagen alter Warhammer-Modelle und gefallen mir (als altem Warhammer-Spieler) bedeutend besser als die Goldjungs oder die völlig abgedrehten Unterwasserelfen…
Witzig, für mich das beste was ich in diesem Jahr gesehen habe und tatsächlich wohl das erste was ich mir seid jahren wieder kaufen werde bei GW. Bin aber auch ein alter Warhammer Fantasy Fanboy 😀
ich glaube eher, dass es ein schönes beispiel von ironie ist und wie leicht es ist das falsch zu verstehen… aber vielleicht interpretier ich die auch nur rein 😀
Ja genau. Das sind auch die alten (in der starterbox).
Sehen nicht passend aus im heutigen Vergleich.
Die Starterbox kommt früher oder später zu mir. Mir gefällt dieser Release, auch wenn ich die Würfel nur als nette Spielerei ansehe. Aus irgendeinem Grund will mir der Herdenstein nicht so richtig gefallen, aber vielleicht muss ich den erst in natura sehen. Ansonsten kann man den auch ohne Probleme selber bauen.
Also mir gefallen die Minis immer noch gut. Glaube ne StartCollctingBox werd ich mir jetzt mal zulegen. 🙂
Ich finde es nach wie vor gut, dass die Tiermenschen wieder als eigenständige Armee auftreten, inklusive der ganzen Monstereinheiten. Ich werde mir das Buch zulegen und mal schauen, ob ich was damit anfangen kann (ich hab noch gut 150 bemalte Modelle von den Ziegen hier herumliegen). Bin eigentlich nur gespannt, wie sie sich jetzt in den Hintergrund einfügen und ob sie noch immer alles mit Kot beschmieren, wie in dem unsäglichen Armeebuch der 7. Edition. 🙂
Finde es zwar gut das es wieder Tiermenschen gibt, aber leider nur aufgewärmtes altes. Hoffen da kommt wie angekündigt etwas Neues auch, und nicht nur noch mehr Aufgewärmtes.
Aufgewärmtes schmeckt bekanntlich am besten,wenn man kochen kann.
Die ersten Minis seit langem,die mir gefallen und evt den weg in meine Sammlung finden werden.
Als oller Oldhammerer bin ich sowas von froh das keine neuen Modelle der Tiermenschen kommen. Der AoS Style der „neuen“ Armeen trifft einfach nicht bei mir. Diese „alte“ Armee braucht meiner Meinung nach kein Facelifting. Die sind perfekt wie sie sind.
Da stimme ich zu, nehme aber explizit die Minotauren aus. Die mochte ich noch nie.
Sehe ich genauso. An sich ist das eine rundum gelungene Armee, die auch mit heutigen Dingen gut mithalten kann. Aber diese Minotauren… da wäre heute dann doch deutlich mehr drin, so sehen sie wie unförmige Fleischklopse aus. Vielleicht liegt es auch an der Bemalung, die die z.T. seltsam platzierten Muskelpartien noch hervorhebt.
Sind das jetzt die alten Modelle überarbeitet, oder die original Modelle?
Würde mir da auch zumindest eine neu designte HQ und ein paar besondere Modelle wünschen.
Das sind alles alte Modelle. Lediglich der Herdstone und die Endless Spells sind neu.
