Shadespire: Angharad Brightshield
Games Workshop haben weitere Infos zu Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire vorgestellt.
One of the biggest pieces of Warhammer news announced in March was the upcoming new game Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire (if you missed the announcement, you can find out more here). Even with the game a little way off yet, we can still share a few things we’re excited about, so we’ll be running a semi-regular series looking ahead to some features of the new game, the models and the story of Shadespire.
Angharad Brightshield caused quite a stir when she was first unveiled at AdeptiCon in March. Brightshield is the first recognisably female Stormcast to be depicted as a Citadel Miniature, but certainly not the only one in Sigmar’s hosts – The Stormcast Eternals are, after all, drawn from heroes across the Mortal Realms. In her past life, before the Age of Chaos, she was a smith, a forger of artefacts of great craftsmanship. In her new role, reforged as a sigmarite-clad warrior of of the God-King, she still wields a hammer – but now as part of the iconic hammer and shield equipment of a Liberator.
In games of Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire, she is not to be underestimated – like all Stormcasts, Brightshield is resilient and reliable. Uniquely amongst the fellow warriors, she can parry and strike back when attacked, making her enemies pay dearly for attempting to strike down one of the Sigmar’s chosen.
