Die Latari Elfen bekommen auch einzelne Erweiterungen für Runequest von Fantasy Flight Games.

Fantasy Flight Games_Runewars Latari Elves Expansions 1

As the Latari Elves enter the battle for Terrinoth, they will call on all the reinforcements they can muster. From archers who have spent centuries honing their craft, to beast riders whose wild fury knows no bounds, to the very forest itself, the forces of the Latari Elves are numerous. Now, these warriors charge into battle with three new expansions for Runewars Miniatures Game!

  • Deepwood Archers Unit Expansion
  • Leonx Riders Unit Expansion
  • Aymhelin Scions Unit Expansion

All three of these expansions allow you to expand your Latari Elves army with units identical to those found in the Latari Elves Army Expansion, and include new upgrade cards and additional tokens.

Forest Sharpshooters

Even the Harazan Skirmishers of Al-Kalim and the Sagittarii of Lorimor cannot match the skill of the Deepwood Archers. No other race can spend the time the Latari Elves dedicate to honing their craft, making these warriors the undisputed masters of the bow. Their careful study of the Deepwood Greatbow is more than just a discipline; it is a way of life. Once committed to the Path of the Arrow, these archers train until their bow is an extension of their hand and their arrow is an extension of their eye. Centuries may seem to pass as swiftly as the seasons, but the Latari archers feel that no amount of time will be enough to completely master their craft.

The Deepwood Archers Unit Expansion includes eight Deepwood Archer figures and two plastic infantry movement trays, enough to field a unit of Deepwood Archers or add on to the units found in the Latari Elves Army Expansion.

The Deepwood Archers Unit Expansion also features five upgrade cards, including Hunter’s Guile,

which lets you upgrade your attack dice if the attached unit is within range equal to or less than the number of natural energy runes on the field of overgrown terrain. With centuries of training, the Deepwood Archers are some of the fiercest warriors to be found in Terrinoth.

Wild Riders

None exemplify the primal, wild nature of the Verdelam more than the Leonx Riders. Charging into battle atop the their ferocious Leonx, large felines native to the Aymhelin, these Elven warriors punch through enemy lines with the force of a storm, only to use their lightning speed to evade counter-blows and change their angle of attack with the swiftness of a gale. Each half of the pair trusts each other with its life, and the bond a Leonx shares with its rider is akin to family. In battle, these wild riders coordinate their movements as one, fusing Elven skill with the predatory instincts of one of the most fearsome beasts in the world.

The Leonx Riders Unit Expansion comes with four Leonx Riders figures, two plastic cavalry movement trays and five upgrade cards. This includes Column Tactics,

an upgrade that allows the upgraded unit’s threat to be determined by its full or partial ranks, shifting your strategies while likely increasing your threat for a low point cost.

Spirit of the Forest

When the children of Latariana sound the horn for battle, the very forest answers their call. Roots erupt from the earth in a peal of thunder while limbs crack and sway as if in a gale. Moss, leaves, and flowers shift and fall and bloom again with the movements of living trees. What once appeared an old knot suddenly glows with living green light as the will of the forest awakens. These are the living kin of the Aymhelin, and it is their power that the Latari Elves look to in their darkest hour.

The Aymhelin Scion Unit Expansion includes two Aymhelin Scion plastic figures, one identical to the figure found in the Latari Elves Army Expansion and one new sculpt, two plastic siege movement trays, and eight upgrade cards. These include brand new cards like Fertile Soil,

which gives an upgraded Aymhelin Scion the ability to remove a wound during the end phase if there are two or more natural energy runes on the field.

Allies of the Latari

Whether you’re launching a volley of arrows at your foes with the Deepwood Archers, charging into battle with the mighty Leonx, or relying on the powerful Aymhelin Scions, the Latari Elves have the tools you need to field a successful army. Watch your forces grow with these three expansions and prepare to fight for Terrinoth
