Pre-Painted Perry Miniatures in association with History Works
Now available!We are pleased to announce we have collaborated with the American company History Works run by Richard Walker (former CEO of W. Britians) on a new range of 28mm pre-painted figures under license from Perry Miniatures. This is a big and exciting new venture for both companies with many releases to come.
The first releases in this series of affordable 28mm metal pre-painted Perry Miniatures and terrain focuses on the American Civil War. Each set of figures is painted to a good wargames standard and comes ready to base. The command sets even have a sheet of flags to choose from so you can make almost any Confederate State Regiment and many Union State and Regular Regiments. The new History Works Gaming range will also include a series of pre-painted, pre-assembled scale resin buildings. The first release includes iconic structures from the Battle of Gettysburg. All figures are 28mm, metal, hand-painted with shading and highlighting to give them the realistic look and feel of battle tested units. They come packaged in a closed box with protective foam inserts and a full color image of the figures.

Mich wundert ja, dass es dafür einen lohnenden Markt gibt.
Ganz nett aber wenn man von 5 Basen pro Regiment mit je sechs Modellen pro Base ausgeht (etwa die Größe bei Longstreet) kostet ein Regiment 200 GBP jnd und eine Brigade 1000 GBP. 😀
Ich bin überzeugt, dass es hierfür einen Markt gibt. Gibt ja auch die 1:48 Miniaturen, die deutlich teurer sind.
Und ich dachte die einschlaegigen Bemalservices waeren teuer o.O
Sorry, aber das bekommt man aus Sri Lanka sicher guenstiger.
Was is das denn für ne Attitüde?
Setz dich mal hin und bemal ne Mini ordentlich und frag dich anschließend, wieviel du dafür nehmen müsstest, dass du einen annehmbaren Stundenlohn rausbekommst.
Wenn man das bedenkt sind die Bemalservices hierzulande, im Rest Europas und den USA verflucht günstig.
Und wer hat bitte Lust seine Miniaturen um die halbe Welt nach Sri Lanka zu schicken? Das Risiko würd ich nie eingehen.
Aehm, einer der groessten und besten Miniaturen-Malservice sitzt in Sri Lanka. Da schicke ich uebrigens gar nichts hin, die kaufen das als Grosshaendler und machen dadurch nochmal Marge.
Aber selbst in den US oder UK wird man dir bei einem professionellen Malservice auf dem Niveau nicht 33Pfund fuer eine bemalte Artillerie abknoepfen wollen.
