Multiverse Gaming: Galaxy at War Preview
Desert Spaceport, the first sub-range of the Galaxy at War, is coming VERY soon – we have a lot of exciting stuff planned for this one and while we start with something small, it should give you a pretty good idea of where we’re going with this range.
This spaceport dwelling combines robust HDF core structure with some greyboard elements to steer away from the usual blockiness of laser cut terrain. The interior with engraved flooring is fully accessible, the doors can be set in the open and closed positions and a handful of decorative widgets (two of which can be seen in these pics) is included with this kit to give you some options for customizing and detailing the building a bit.
How do you like it? Is there anything you’d like to see as part of the range? Let us know in the comments!
Das folgende Bild ist zwar deutlich älter, wir wollten es euch aber trotzdem zeigen. Aus der beliebten Rubrik „Wie hoch kann man die Forges of Prometheus eigentlich bauen?“:
TABLE IDEA: INDUSTRIAL SPIRE
We have received several messages asking how tall a structure can you build with our Forges of Prometheus kits – and we thought a picture may be the best answer we can give you.
The structure you see here is 15 floors tall (about ~95cm or 3’1″). The use of beams and larger modules like the cooling units or industrial arches makes the piece stable enough to play on it – and the fact that almost all of the floors can be accessed with ladders and stairways should allow for some pretty exciting gameplay.
Sure, for a standard game you’d probably be better building two such spires half the size of this one… but as a proof of concept this one works quite nicely, doesn’t it?
