AoS: Blades of Khorne und Kharadron Overlords
Im April bekommen die Anhänger des Chaosgottes Khorne ein neues Battletome und es gibt einen kleinen Ausblick auf die neuen Kharadon Overlords.
Coming to the Mortal Realms this April
April is going to be a stellar month for fans of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. We have already had a first look at the incredible new duardin, the Kharadron Overlords. But they won’t be the only faction getting an update next month.
Blades of Khorne
The forces of Chaos will be getting some new rules with a the new ‘Chaos Battletome: Blades of Khorne’. These guys are the archetypal villains of the age and the first faction to meet the Stormcast Eternals in battle in the realms. Like their heaven-forged adversaries who received a new Battletome last month, it’s only fitting that the followers of the Blood God get an update too.
In many ways, the new Battletome is the Khornate equivalent of the Disciples of Tzeentch book we saw in January. It brings new allegiance abilities for daemonic and mortal followers of the Blood God, as well as new magic weapons (probably some axes…), Battalions, command traits and prayers (good news for Slaughterpriests, who can use all of the above!).
There are no new models to accompany the release, as the armies of Khorne are pretty well catered for in that regard, but this does give you loads of new ways to use your existing force, or a great excuse to start a new army. All in, it’s a great time to pledge your allegiance to the Blood God – Start Collecting! boxes are already available for both Daemons of Khorne, and Khorne Bloodbound, and either of those combined with the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Starter Set gives you pretty much a full army.
Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!
The other big release of April is the Kharadron Overlords. We have already had a pretty good look at these guy (check them out HERE if you missed it). One thing we haven’t seen before though is one of these sturdy folk outside their armour. There is only a single picture of this in the entire book. They do take their armour off, though never outside the sealed environments of their ships and cities, and underneath their arcane environment suits are recognisable duardin.
We love this piece – the Kharadron preparing for war – April is going to be awesome.
