Jovian Wars: Neue Schiffe
Bei Dream Pod 9 gibt es neue Schiffe für Jovian Wars. Weitere sollen noch vor Weihnachten folgen und für 2018 ist ein neuer Kickstarter geplant.
Jovian Wars Resin Spaceships Miniatures Available Now!
With all the HGB Kickstarter work our scheduled release last Friday of more Jovian Wars resin spaceships got forgotten. We have now added the 5 promised ships (Corsair & Intrepid for Jovian and Hydra, Chin, & Detroit for CEGA) to the DP9 Online Store along with any new resin habitat or special sections for them. Seven ships for the Jovian Faction (Alexander, Majestic, & remaster Valiant, Forge, Ypres, Corsair & Intrepid) and Eight ships for the CEGA faction (Constantinople, Birmingham, & remastered Poseidon, Narwal, Hammerhead, Hydra, Chin, & Detroit) are now available. Ich find die Schiffe so geil. Leider kein Budget mehr frei.
Die Ringe find ich sehr sehr geil als Designelement.
Laut Hintergrund sind das die einzigen Sektionen der Schiffe die Gravitation haben. Künstliche ist in dem Universum noch nicht Erfunden. Es ist eher near SciFi.
Jepp, genau der Ring ist es, was mich bei den Modellen anspricht…
Von der „Jovian Corsair Frigate“ werden 1 oder 2 den Weg zu mir finden.
Finde die vom Design her total toll.
Ich habe noch die ganzen alten Jovian Chronicles RPG Bücher und habe damals viel Lightning Strike gespielt. Finde die Redesigns vom Athena toll… leider etwa 10 Jahre zu spät.
Ich hab die auch noch alle und lese die immer wieder gerne! Aber auch für mich kommen die Sachen um Jahre zu spät😒

Ich habe die verschiedenen Spielewelten von DP9 immer gemocht, aber die Mängel bei Verfügbarkeit und Support waren und bleiben K.O.-Kriterien. :/
Hat man unter Schub nicht eh Schwerkraft?
Braucht man da Ringe?
Unter konstanten Schub ja. Wenn ich das aber richtig verstehe beschleunigen die und dann wird das Triebwerk ausgeschaltet. Die gleiten dann durchs All wieheutige Raumsonden. Und dann ist die Schwerkraft weg. So wie beiden Apollokapseln oder Spaceshuttels. Reisen im Sonnensystem dauern dort auch gern mal länger je nachdem wie die Planeten stehen da man diese wie bei heutigen Raumsonden als Katapulte nutzt! DieRinge an den Schiffen drehen sich um den Besatzungen möglichst Schonende Aufenthalte im Raum zu ermöglichen. Sonst droht Muskel und Knochenabbau. Es gibt zwar Medikamente aber auf Dauer helfen die auch nicht!
Es geht bei denen sogarsoweit das bei einem Gefecht die künstliche Atmosphäre abgelassen wird um Brände und rausschleudern der Manschaften zu verhindern. Die Manschaften haben dann alle Raumanzüge an. Mann kann so einiges über heutige Raumfahrr und ihre Probleme lernen. Hab das mal von einem Astrophysiker gegenchecken lassen der war trotz der Einfachheit der Erklärungen zufrieden. Sagte was von ziemlich realistisch aber… Ab da hab ich nichts mehr verstanden!😂
@ZombieGarage: Das JC-Universum ist relativ „harte“ SF, von daher stimmt das alles schon. 😉
Das ist mir klar, sollte nicht negativ gemeint mein sein. Ich find das sogar gut. Ich hatte das damals nur bei ner Diskusion mit meinen Schwager der Astrophysiker ist zur Sprache gebracht da Jovian Chrinicals mein Interesse für das Thema geweckt hatte. Leider hab ich bei dem nichts verstanden! Die Regelbücher arbeiten das Thema sehr verständlich auf so das auch ich das verstehe.
Ist auch nicht negativ rüber gekommen, keine Bange. 🙂

Ach ja. Homeworld war gut damals. Das Adagio für Geigen am Anfang im Intro. Herrlich. Gibt es ja remastered mittlerweile.
