Deep Madness is a co-operative miniature board game for 1-6 players, with truly immersive horror experiences, highly intense and fast paced combat, and deeply strategical challenges.
In a dark and claustrophobic deep sea mining facility, the uncovering of a mysterious “Sphere” pulls those around it into a spiral of madness. The fears hidden deep down in the core of the human mind is amplified and transformed into horrifying monsters from other dimensions, torturing the mind, body and soul. Only those with extraordinary will and conviction can escape its devastating grasp.

The game is based on a series of scenarios. Each of them has its own plot, special rules, winning and losing conditions, as well as its own game board, built from room tiles. Each scenario has a limited number of game rounds. If the investigators fail to achieve the goals before the last round ends, the game is lost and everyone is consumed by madness.
As the Devour Marker progresses, more and more room tiles are flipped to the madness side. These rooms will spawn monsters and provide various nasty effects to hinder the investigators. The double-sided tile represents the 2 states of a single room. The order in which the rooms are devoured is random, and is determined by flipping the room deck. Together with the random devoured effects, the game board will have plenty of dynamic.
In the game, players will assume the roles of investigators who venture into the seemingly empty but perilous deep-sea mining site to discover the truth that lies behind the lost contact event, but only to find themselves trapped in a world of horror that originates from the debris of insane consciousness.
Investigators will have health, resilience, sanity, and escape attributes, as well as irreplaceable unique abilities. Different teams generate different synergies and strategies. They are given many chances to consume their own sanity, to activate abilities, to use the effects of items, and to re-roll dice. However, they are vulnerable when the sanity is low. After an investigator with exhausted tokens manages to kill a monster, the monster will corrupt his mind by permanently flipping the exhausted tokens into madness tokens. As the madness tokens accumulate, horror will haunt the investigators by resolving Madness Cards.
