Warzone: Der Bauhaus Grizzly im Fokus
Prodos stellen den Bauhaus Grizzly näher vor.
In the Lore:
The Grizzly is not so much a tank as a mobile fortress. The template has been presented at various scales and has been seen at dimensions so huge that as it lumbers through the jungle it creates roads for following formations of lesser tanks and armoured carriers to utilise. The GBT-49 is Bauhaus’s largest commonly used variant of the Grizzly battle tank, a powerful vehicle bristling with armaments. It mounts two huge weapons in its main turret; a 180mm tank killer plus a 230mm mortar for indirect fire support. The main body is equipped with various secondary turrets sporting either light machine guns or mini cannons. The GBT-49 Grizzly is powered by twin 7,800 horsepower turbo engines that consume 31 gallons of diesel per kilometre, and more when forcing its way through especially dense secondary jungle.
On the Tabletop:
The Grizzly is the toughest tank in the Warzone resurrection universe. It has an impressive front armour value of 19, which means only the most dedicated of anti-tank weaponry stands a chance against it.
It has two main weapons both mounted in its beastly turret, both so powerful that only one my shoot each turn. First up is its 230mm mortar this weapon lobs a large explosion template out to 30 inches with a strength of 17; it easily makes pulp out of infantry units. Next up is its 180mm “tank killer” gun which may be used if you Turn to Burn 2 resource cards. It has a strength of 18 and an anti-vehicle value of 10; plus it does Critical Damage 2 which means each hit takes 2 structure points from the target vehicles hit location!
The Grizzly also has a host of secondary weaponry. First up is Stonecleaver light machineguns mounted in its Front and side fire arcs. The weapons make it extremely dangerous for infantry to get close to the tank. Next up are its rear firing 45mm cannons which can lob out 4 small explosion templates to defend the rear of the Grizzly.
