Wamp: Select Series Paintbrushes Kickstarter

Ein neuer Kickstarter bietet interessante Pinsel.

For 10 years now Wamp has been an integral part of the miniature painting community becoming one of the largest forums for painters in the world.

Our aim is to get everyone involved in painting miniatures regardless of skill level. At Wamp we have some of the worlds finest artists rubbing shoulders with beginners.

It has long been a dream to add more to the community and creating our own brush range is something we have thought about for a long while.

Es gibt zahlreiche verschiedene Pinsel:

Fine Detail

Equivalent to a Size 0. A very sharp tapered point makes this ideal for really small details such as eyes. The bristles are slightly longer than some other brushes allowing for better flow that gives greater precision precisely when its needed.

Detail

Equivalent to a size 1, this is the main workhorse brush. Its larger size over the Fine Detail allows it to be utilised not only for detail work but for blending applications. Once again a fine point coupled with slightly longer bristles allows the brush to offer great control.

Basecoat

Equivalent to a size 3, the Basecoat brush is a larger size that allows quick and easy basecoating. The bristles are slightly more rounded and shorter than the detail brushes. Many painters may also utilise this as a second brush when doing two-brush blending.

Freehand

Equivalent to a size 0, the freehand brush features extra long and thin bristle arrangement that is perfect for smooth thin strokes that are required for detailed freehand work.

Large Basecoat

Equivialent to a size 4, this large size brush is great for applying large swathes of basecoat quickly but still features a great point to allow for precise work.

Vehicle Brush

Equivalent to a size 6, this is the largest brush we produce. It is aimed towards larger scale projects such as scenery or large vehicles.

Liner

Equivalent to a size 2/0, this small brush is designed for lining work. Its extra long bristles allow for long smooth flowing brush strokes. If you are after long thin lines on the edges of freehand then this is the perfect brush.

Fine Freehand

Equivalent to a size 2/0. This is a small sized brush but it has been given a conical shape bristle with a fine tapered point. This allows extra fine precision work but the reservoir holds more paint than equivalent sized brushes. This mean precise strokes can be applied without the worry of the paint running out mid-stroke.

Stipple Brush (Unlocked)

This brush is perfect for applying a stipple effect to your work, whether its adding texture to cloth, damp patches to brickwork or rust effects this is the brush for the job. The 1/8th“ head is perfect for getting into small areas like metal bolts. The head is made from stiff bristles (Not Kolinsky because that just wouldn’t work!) with a slight angle so you can use a varying amount of the head to give precise control depending on your needs.

Two Brush Blending Set (Unlocked)

This pair of brushes is a rather unusual set up for most people but is the way Ali likes to work for Two Brush blending to achieve her stunning results and she is happy to put her name to this set.

The first brush (the one used to apply the paint) is a size 2 brush. with a rounded point this brush has a nice sized belly to hold plenty of paint giving you the freedom to apply in the quantity you want. the second brush in the set is a Filbert style. Equivalent to a size 2 the flat shape sets this brush apart from the usual blenders. Ali particularly likes this shape as it is perfect for blending to an edge

Both brushes are made from pure Kolinsky Sable.

Large Detail Brush (Unlocked)

Made to the same design as the standard Detail Brush just in a larger size (Equivalent to a size 2) Once again made from pure Kolinsky Sable with a nice sharp point, this gives the same great accuracy but with a larger belly allowing for more paint volume giving a greater range on stroke length without worrying about running out of paint mid-stroke.

Flat Brush (Unlocked)

This size 1 equivalent is perfect for angular edging work as well as other tasks

All our brushes feature the same superb quality Pure Kolinsky Sable bristles. Gloss finished wooden handles and Nickel Ferrules, The handle thickness and shape is designed to make the brushes light-weight and comfortable to hold even during long painting sessions. A must for commission painters and display painters alike!

  • Hab mir erst gestern neue Pinsel bestellt.

      Beispiel:

      Freehand
Equivalent to a size 0, the freehand brush features extra long and thin bristle arrangement that is perfect for smooth thin strokes that are required for detailed freehand work.

  • @ Belakor sags halt richtig …MINGA….
